Same. The comments about setting practice session time were really interesting too, especially in light of the things Teddy Bridgewater said a while back. Wahle was pretty specific about Christensen's technique issues. You'd think an NFL level coach would have seen that. And if you're having the same issues with other players, that points further to coaching. Basically, Pat Meyer deserved to be let go, but it's still on Rhule for hiring him in the first place, especially given he has experience at that job.

Can you imagine anybody else? That's one of the reasons I think we could end up drafting a quarterback. What veteran with any options is going to want to come here?

I've got a feeling he was directed to hire from outside. They still let him decide who to hire, but he can't just promote or rehire his buddies. That's a theory, of course. The OL and DL hires will be interesting.

Agree completely. Unfortunately, I've yet to see any solid indication that Matt Rhule's power and control is going to be reduced in any way before next season.

I don't know what kind of head coach Byron Leftwich is going to be, but I do know that Trent Baalke is a bad GM. Don't know how good a GM Adrian Wilson will be either but I've heard lots of pretty good things about him. So honestly, if the Jaguars get nothing else out of this besides dumping Baalke, it's likely still a net positive.

Rumors now that Jacksonville might replace their GM in order to get Leftwich. Haven't seen how legit they are yet, but it actually might be a good move.

I know my interest level in this franchise is at an absolute all time low. Thinking about watching another year of this clown show is disheartening.
