  1. Oh they will rush over their average but they also only average 165.8 YPG through the air. Again, Caleb Williams is not a good QB and we have done fairly decent against way, way, WAY better QB's so far. We got passed on by notorious accurate passers and Caleb Williams is extremely inaccurate.
  2. They have the 29th ranked rushing offense at 87.3 YPG. This is what I mean by I am not understanding why people think Caleb is going to have a big day against us.
  3. Simping for Kirk Cousins is hilariously pathetic. I mean not as bad as simping for Sam Darnold, but still pathetic.
  4. I really have no idea why people think that Caleb is going to have a big day against us. We have yet to allow a passer hit 250 yards. That includes Derek Carr, Joe Burrow and Justin Herbert.
  5. Kirk Cousins is Matt Ryan. And, no, he isn't clutch. Take a look at his 1-3 playoff record.
  6. I mean we were a disaster at that point. Nothing about that was surprising. If you had dropped Mayfield into this team, it would be a vastly different result.
  7. That last TD notwithstanding, I would say Mayfield is actually more like Dalton than Cousins.
  8. Our coverage has been tricky and I don't think we are going to be easy for Caleb.
  9. I wish we were that close but I don't think that is the case at all.
  10. Yeah, he is unlikely to ever see the playoffs here unless his tenure is beyond 2027.
  11. Baker was never as bad as people said he was. That was 100% nonsense. He is a good Dalton comp. actually. He wasn't good here because our team was utter cancer. It wasn't possible to be successful in that nonsense.
  12. I think Caleb gets generous and hands us a couple of INT's. This is a very, very winnable game. Their offense stinks, our defense stinks. They have a very good defense and we have a pretty good offense. Should be a good one.
  13. In fairness, I am pretty sure the poster in question is also one of the "Let's sign Cam!" guys too. As if this makes that chapter of this franchise any less painful or would accomplish anything.
  14. Yeah, the big sting is the trade up price. That will hurt for a very long time. Had it worked out differently and we just drafted him at 9, it wouldn't be nearly as big of a deal. Either way, time to move on. It's a very long way to build a winner here but you can at least see that it might actually be possible for once.
  15. Agreed, it would be a good story but I am pretty skeptical. The reasons he was not successful are typically hard to fix
  16. You do realize that everything you are wishing for was during the Tepper era, right? And your big wish was 6-6 football. Speaking of Stockholm Syndrome, holy poo. May God have mercy on your soul.
  17. Pining after the Darnold era is peak desperation. This is your personal rock bottom as a Panthers fan. That was so far from a good thing it's laughable.
  18. He also has the best OL has has ever had. He is almost last in the league in Time To Throw.
  19. Diggs wouldn't have won them that game. Yes every team has divas but it just depends on the level of diva and if it is ruining chemistry.
  20. Howell is probably worth a late round pick(6th/7th) but Seattle might not be willing to let him go for that. The issue with Howell is that he is a Favre/Winston gunslinger. So, Dalton with substantially less sound decision making. He is probably best suited as a backup for a couple of more years to see if you can get him up to a Dalton/Mayfield level of being a "less TO prone" gunslinger. If you could get Dalton to start the next couple of seasons or so, with Howell riding the pine, that might be a decent development scenario for him.
  21. A lot of people are going to see that Darnold is riding an unsustainable luck streak. If you do a deep dive in the stats, it sticks out like a sore thumb. Same with watching games live. He is about 4-6 INT's short of what he should be at.
  22. Not always, that diva stuff can wear on a team eventually depending on the player. Look at Diggs in Buffalo. It just old. Look at literally every stop in Terrell Owens career(although he was literally a cancerous teammate). One could argue Steve Smith was a diva too but going back in the thread, I would argue he was less diva than pure hothead.
  23. AT has very, very limited value. More likely something in the 6th/7th range.
