  1. Offense: Young, Moton, Hubbard, Ekwonu TBH, most of these are by default due to the rookie deals. Moton is probably the only "must keep" player on the entire offense outside of that. The rest of the OL(Ekwonu falls into this category as well) is a wait and see based on what the scheme is. Painfully obvious what we currently do is exactly what we don't want to do on the OL. Defense: Luvu, Brown, Horn Horn appears here because of the rookie deal. Luvu and Brown are genuinely franchise players. I gotta get rid of Burns because of what has transpired. That situation is not repairable, IMO. I love our safeties and I would keep them around if need be but they also aren't irreplaceable players. So basically start building around Moton, Luvu and Brown, TBH. That's about as close as we have to "can't miss" players. We are about as talent deficient as I can ever remember us.
  2. Dude, that poo mortified me as a Panthers fan. I am all too familiar with preseason expectations falling flat. It was funny, I knew Canes fans chirping about that spot at #1 but I was sweating bullets.
  3. There is no chance Dalton will start with Tepper as owner. Bryce is clearly his dude. It is a shame for Bryce, his career is starting to look similar to so many previous #1 overall draft pick busts. Not all his fault.
  4. Yeah, we got quite a few guys that will be angling for new deals. They will need to ball out. I think most of our offensive staff will be viewed as cancer in the NFL.
  5. I think the players and coaches are auditioning for other jobs. That is basically what is left to play for. Everyone is searching for a life raft off the Titanic
  6. Report: Hurricanes' DeAngelo on trade block https://www.thescore.com/nhl/news/2788178
  7. Based on the recent Athletic article, I think we can safely say 98% of our current struggles are his fault.
  8. Yeah, eventually something has to change. I know Rod probably still believes this is correctable but we are a pretty good ways into this and it doesn't seem to be working. Now, in Rod's defense, we have had another season under him of a bunch of line changes before things started clicking. Maybe this is another one. I am still mostly worried about the goalie situation. We have absolutely no safety net for sluggish offense or a few mental errors. Mistakes are just too easily scored on. That has to stop. I know plenty of you keep defending this situation but the stats aren't an accident. Also consider how often we force those mistakes and get stoned by supposedly average goalies. Our guys have extreme difficulty with that.
  9. Another L for a bad team. I predict trades will be made by mid-Jan.
  10. I get the feeling this is gonna continue. Luckily I didn't spend $2k on tickets to see us play @Detroit next week.
  11. Once we start breaking down our goalies poo themselves immediately. I just don't get it. Not just our mental lapses but how these goalies can just immediately lose it. Never seen anything like this from Rod teams.
  12. The goaltending is the number one problem but we have never been able to get the general chemistry right all year. We have been streaky. I sort of think we are gonna start unloading some trades at some point.
  13. He is actually doing a great job. He has taken such a massive, stinking poo on our franchise we definitely can't smell Richardson anymore.
  14. PP has been anemic. Let's get it going now.
  15. I would highly, HIGHLY doubt BPA is going to result in a QB in the top of the 2nd.
  16. Well, I guess they technically had to score that one for us. I'll take it.
  17. Here is what I can see very clearly, Raanta is the worst goaltender in the NHL at the moment. Doesn't have to all be his fault but sucking fuging ass all year long....yeah, that is on him.
  18. It isn't new. He has been bad all season. That save percentage and GAA have been bad all year. It just didn't matter because we were scoring well.
