  1. Okay, so he's still just a young, dumb kid. I actually don't necessarily think that is a big deal. Just depends on how much maturing he has to do.
  2. Huddle experts told me Parsons was the best player in the draft.
  3. He will take more than a 2nd to acquire.
  4. I honestly think that ship has sailed. I also don't think Denver wants him that badly.
  5. No one wants the salary. If they just wait until he is cut, they can sign him for cheaper.
  6. Yeah, as fans we rarely know what goes on behind the war room doors. Even if we stand pat at 8, we'll likely never know about most of the deals that were offered or that we tried to make.
  7. I am not sure they are to that level of state secret. I suspect they are as tight lipped as most NFL front offices are around draft time.
  8. Blows my mind that people try to say Gettleman or Hurney was better. They were both TERRIBLE.
  9. Still waiting for these amazing deals we would be offered for Teddy. Huddle experts told me he was worth so much.
  10. I wouldn't be against improved depth at QB, but it doesn't need to be at a premium price.
  11. Missed the game due to work. How did Ned look? Stats indicate he was sharp.
  12. This is true, I am not factoring in his awfulness enough as a positive attribute for getting us a shot at another top 10 draft pick. However, the counter to that being, what if it also exposes how poorly our staff is at evaluating QB talent?
  13. Too early. Let's see the draft first. Then we can jump the shark.
  14. The demand has largely been for starters but not highly paid backup QB's. There is a reason we had no success attempting to trade him, nor has he had success trying to get traded.
  15. We needed this game. Hopefully we keep this momentum up in the 3rd and walk all over them in the second game, as well
  16. Mac Jones At 8, definitely not Parsons. Below 10, fine with Parsons.
  17. My actual big board and my Panthers big board would look quite a bit different. I do adjust for our specific needs.
  18. I believe they are still QB hungry because they seem to think we are pretty close to contending(which is obviously not the case). We will see if that turns out to be true, provided a top 4 QB is even an option at all for us. For me personally, seeing them draft a QB at 8 even after the Darnold trade will show me that they are still trying to find a guy and put us in a better position. If we stand pat on Darnold, my outlook will have changed from being cautiously optimistic about being "ahead of schedule" on our rebuild after the 2020 season. I will immediately switch to a "This Darnold thing either works or these guys have no idea what they are doing in the NFL" mindset. I want to be able to hold out hope for the franchise future for as long as possible. Even with Teddy stinking it up, I really enjoyed 2020 and seeing our young guys play well. I want to continue to be hopeful as I watch us lose games, knowing there is a plan and a future.
  19. The QB market is crazy right now. Curious to see if it will come back to earth or it just stays this high for a while.
  20. If he flames out, you will be able to tell that our current coaching staff doesn't have much ability to identify QB talent.
