  1. I wouldn't have either. Not sure or our new buddy Fitts made the wisest choice there. Both are unique players who can be used almost anywhere on the field and are clearly the best players at their position. But neither play premium high $ positions. Would I give up 2 1sts for Teddy & CMC? No. But that doesn't mean nobody else will. Or that they would be insane if they did.
  2. And before you but but but he's a running back... RB: 2nd lowest paid offensive position ($1.9 mil) S: Lowest paid defensive position ($2.7 mil)
  3. Dude, Seattle just traded 2 1sts, a 3rd and a borderline starter for Jamal Adams less than a year ago. And they had to give him a new contract. CMC's bonus has already been paid. McCaffery, a 3rd and $20 million > Adams?
  4. I doubt they would either. It's just the only way I can see HOU getting what they want for Watson without us completely gutting the team. And to be fair, for a team that's only one or two players away from a championship caliber team, (if that's still how they see themselves) 2 1sts for McCaffery is not ridiculous.
  5. This is the only scenario I see that could make sense... CAR gives up: Teddy, Shaq, CMC and 2021 1st SF gives up: Jimmy G, 2021 1st and 2022 1st HOU gives up: Watson CAR recieves: Watson SF recieves: Teddy and CMC HOU recieves: Jimmy, Shaq and 3 1sts We get Watson without mortgaging the future and clear enough cap to resign Samuel & Moton. Houston gets their 3 1sts, a defensive player and a QB to groom their new rookie. And SF gets to prove once and for all whether a stacked team with a mediocre QB can still win it all in the NFL.
  6. They just don't want to admit the truth. Also, TOR is like 1/10th of a percent better in Point Percentage. But, we are ahead in both GF/G and GA/G
  7. I hate Tom Dundon more than is probably healthy. (Definitely unhealthy) But, he made one hell of a coaching hire!
  8. We are setup to become the team that every other fanbase hates. And I love it!
  9. Paquette looked great tonight. I'm sure playing his old team lit an extra fire under him. But, I wonder if Rod will give him some more games on the wing after this.
  10. Ned out here playing dead to get the save! Seems like he's got acting in his blood...
  11. Well that was a boring period. Not nearly as sloppy as recent games. But, sometimes it's hard to tell if both teams are playing really good defense, or just really bad offense.
  12. The only thing I can think of is that he is trying to match the defense to the different styles of the goalies.
  13. Although I wonder if the Fluery/Gardiner switch has something to do with Canada's favourite illegitimate son starting in net tonight?
  14. Get well soon Turbo. Sounds like it's just rest for The Gardener.
  15. I didn't realize they had such along layoff. Hopefully it takes the a while to knock the rust off.
  16. Not necessarily. If we were to go 3-1 or 4-0, especially if they are regulation wins, that would be huge for playoff seeding. And we will, presumably, be getting Mrazek back at some point. If we are still averaging ~4 goals a game AND have the inside track for the top seed when Petr gets back, we would have the flexibility to strategically rest some guys with minor nicks and scratches, and go into the playoffs as healthy/rested as possible.
  17. He has 3 different burners... I'm dying... @theoedmond5 @edmth2 @no_pander (the follows on this acct are )
