  1. My name is David Tepper, I thought we made this clear?
  2. For clarification purposes, this is my personal twitter. I have never used twitter that much but am wanting to use it a bit more for football purposes
  3. I had a bit of a scout crush on Eason before he played the full season lol
  4. The line of thinking is something like Armstead, a LB, Jimmy G, 2-3 1sts.
  5. Plenty of teams in the running, only two teams right now willing to pay the price.
  6. Things on the surface or not as they appear.
  7. For what it is worth, the Texans are telling pretty much everyone that Watson is not available, but the internal price keeps rising. Teams know what the cost is. 3-4 1st rounders, or 2-3 1st rounders and a great young starter.
  8. Love Eichenberg, this is a very solid class for OT so I think he could be there for us in the 2nd. He is a very consistent talent, and a serious load in the run game. Moton could be our LT and he could be our RT, I would be estatic.
  9. I've kind of just maintained the usual thought that Watson will not play for Houston, and we are the most obvious choice and the most aggressive bidders.
  10. Hurts is the guy in Philly. Expect them to target weapons for him or some secondary help.
  11. ^Much respect to Mr Scot
  12. Yeah I can write something like that up soon.
  13. The best frame of reference we have "The Chicago Bears acquired disgruntled Denver Broncos quarterback Jay Cutler in a trade on Thursday afternoon, giving up quarterback Kyle Orton and first-round picks in 2009 (18th overall) and 2010, along with a third-round pick (84th overall) in 2009 to do it." Only Deshaun is a much better QB than Jay was at this point. So a higher third pick, and a player makes sense. Orton is Teddy probably.
  14. Side note: I do not believe we ever offered Burns, nor do I personally think we would trade him.
  15. Fields is definitely a great QB prospect, no problems with that. Can't imagine him over Wilson though.
  16. In todays NFL, there is a very slim chance of you winning a super bowl without a franchise QB. Plus side if you have Mahomes, Watson, Brady, Allen, Rodgers, or Wilson. You are almost always in the race with those guys. CMC will almost never get you 2+ wins by himself, we already know this given the last two years. 2-3 first rounders is certainly steep, but you have a much better chance bouncing back from that loss than finding a Deshaun Watson play literally ever again. Tepper and company know this, they know what is needed to elevate a franchise, and they know a franchise QB is building block #1. If you do not have that guy, you are going to keep rebuilding until you do, while the players you spend first round picks on walk out the door.
