I think Washington is a serious contender on any of these top QBs. I really do think they are ready to dump a few firsts and a guy like Payne on a team like Seattle or GB.

Pickett was also the most impressive interviewer at the Senior Bowl, by a wide margin apparently. It bolds well for his stock.

Well yeah, writing is very much on the wall. Which is why it makes no sense why he wasn't fired?? You are giving a lame duck coach control of this draft to try and save his butt? Potentially forcing a rookie QB to switch offensive systems and stall his development? When has a desperate coach ever made good decisions? Tepper really needed to swallow his pride and he couldn't. Gosh I have heard such varied things on Howell. I have heard 3rd round and I have heard middle of the 1st. I think your Steelers connection is correct. I think Howell will ultimately go in round 1, maybe much higher than where he is being mocked now.

Yeah I had admitted I was totally dooped on Mac Jones. There was a lot out there about him, the team I was connected to had him penciled in at 3. Shannahan runs a great smokescreen, Rhule does not.

I have never said we are taking Willis. Willis is who I would like them to take. He is my QB1.

Ehhh, I just think Rhule is incredibly bad at keeping secrets. When this comes from multiple angles (Myself, Albright, Florio) it becomes kind of hard to ignore. Smokescreens usually fall under less reputable people (referring to Flores and Albright, not me). There is also a history of it being obvious when they are going to take someone, Derrick Brown being the obvious. I do not we would trade down and take Pickett, they would just take him at 6.

I doubt I am doing that this year. I'll still do my normal draft stuff but I don't think I will drop many nuggets this year, it is too stressful. Also am in the running for a job for a scouting/writer job so I am not trying to split information two ways.
