Pitts is a top 5 player in this draft to me, Jordan hovers in the 20s.

Panthers called everybody.

As far as TEs go, I love the first two and then I think there is a bit of a drop off. Frieirmuth is such a wild card for me, and Long reminds me a lot of an Austin Hooper type TE. Yeah I would not want to move Leatherwood inside, especially given the need in the NFL for solid tackles.

Paye is definitely a freak, nothing wrong with that.

If it means anything, Javonte is my RB6 right now, I actually really like him, and I think he could easily go off the board in the 2nd-3rd round. I am not a huge fan of Samuel Jr. as I think he is very limited in the NFL. Bateman is a solid WR, probably my WR7-8, Tyler Johnson leaving hurt him for sure.

I don't believe the reporting tbh. Why in the world would they limit their trade prospects to one team within their own conference? Unless Watson himself stated he would only play for the Jets which doesn't make a lot of sense either. I see it coming down to us, NYJ, or Houston. We will absolutely give up whatever it takes to get him. I know McClain is plugged in and everything, but I have not heard this, nor does it make a lot of sense.

For the people asking about centers, my dumbass completely forgot to add them, I will update them later.

Todd McShay mocks us to trade up with Miami to get Trey Lance
Verge replied to electro's horse's topic in Carolina Panthers
Makes sense to me. -
It's going to take 1st and more to get him, that's capital we will be using on a QB.

Ranking Eight Potential QB Trade Targets for Panthers
Verge replied to KatsAzz's topic in Carolina Panthers
I don't really see Jacksonville parting with Minshew. They get one of the best backups in the NFL on an insanely good contract. It would likely take a 1st round pick. -
Wentz update: Trade is close, with three teams involved

Houston might be the surprise team here however -

Probably Bears or Colts will get him. Haven't heard anything about us. -
"Multiple Teams have reached out to the Jets about Darnold"
Verge replied to ncfan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Seems like a possibility if Watson falls through. -
Don't be so surprised...

Guy makes a lot of sense about us and Watson. (Good Read)
Verge replied to Big Sexy's topic in Carolina Panthers
This is not going to happen. If we do not land Watson we will trade up for a QB or find some other QB on the market. -

I have heard absolutely nothing about us and Wentz. I have heard everything about us and Watson. We are as all in as all in can get, and Watson wants to be here. It's either us or he stays a Texan. -
With All the Offseason QB Drama, Impossible to Mock QBs Currently
Verge replied to 45catfan's topic in 2023 NFL Draft
I think Teddy has a pretty cut friendly contract, or he could be apart of a trade in which we acquire a QB (cough Watson cough) -

I doubt there is any validity to the Cam thing. If anything the Bears pursue a guy like Matt Ryan or Taysom Hill. -

I still think priority #1 is Deshaun Watson. Though I do see Mitch Trubisky (ew) and Jimmy G as possibilities. IMO it's Watson or trade up to #2-#3 at this point. -
Trade up with Dolphins seems the most likely at this point
Verge replied to AU-panther's topic in Carolina Panthers
I can drop some buzz I hear, but it probably isn't any different from what you will here on ESPN. The draft is our primary focus. -
It's all good, I don't take it personally or anything lol

Verge replied to 45catfan's topic in 2023 NFL Draft
If for whatever reason Panthers cannot acquire one of the QBs on the market, I would expect them to move up to #2 or #3 for Wilson/Fields/Lance, been saying this for a while and fully believe we are all systems go. I really think the front office sees Wilson as that dude. Deshaun Watson being priority #1 obviously.
