New Panthers general manager Scott Fitterer will hold his introductory press conference on Friday, Jan. 22 at 11:30 a.m. ET. Fitterer will take questions from the media about a wide variety of topics and fans are encouraged to tune in and watch the live video, streaming on Panthers.com, the Panthers app and the Panthers YouTube, Facebook and Twitter accounts. Fitterer agreed to terms to become the Panthers new general manager last Thursday after 20 years with the Seattle Seahawks, most recently as the vice president of football operations. He will be able to jump right into his new role in Carolina with the annual Reese's Senior Bowl starting practices next week.

Let it be known that Deshaun Watson is my first, second, and third pick for a veteran QB. Another QB has been brought into the mix, Matt Stafford of the Detroit Lions. Here is a breakdown of Stafford's stats. Positives Good arm, can drive the ball down the field. Has maintained a very good QR rating despite playing for a bad team. Has stayed healthy mostly. Negatives Not especially mobile 32 years old I think most of us can agree he would be an upgrade over Teddy, but is he the right guy to build a long term championship caliber team with?
