Panthers Roster Projection Update
OnlyPantherFaninMaine replied to Jeremy Igo's topic in Carolina Panthers
Todman also grew up in Massachusetts and is best childhood friends with a friend of mine. So I hope he's a Panther. He has produced as an RB in the NFL before, is probably the best kick returner on the roster, brings speed we lack on offense, and can tackle on special teams. -

I will say this: Leading the SEC in rushing and being named First Team all SEC is not by chance. He's as talented as they come at the tailback position.- 30 replies

I used to work for the Patriots and personally escorted Brady around during signings after training camp practices. Brady would usually sign once a week and at the most would sign 10 items before heading to the locker room.

1 on 1 - Mario Addison vs Nate Chandler
OnlyPantherFaninMaine replied to Jeremy Igo's topic in Carolina Panthers
Speed is only one facet to rushing the passer. He certainly has his deficiencies elsewhere. But his speed at the position is incredible. I remember multiple times last year him running down receivers and backs and some of the faster QBs in this league from behind. -
1 on 1 - Mario Addison vs Nate Chandler

Super Mario is probably too fast for 90% of the OTs in this league. Lets hope he can sustain his current weight and strength or even get a little bigger. -
your prediction...the first fight in practice
OnlyPantherFaninMaine replied to Captain Morgan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Glanton and Ward got into it briefly today. Glanton swiped Ward's helmet off of his head with a swift swipe of the arm but Ward didn't engage or react. Just tough physical play out of both of them. Wouldn't call it a fight. -

I'd be perfectly okay if this was the best thread of our entire season. Well, second best. After the Super Bowl 50 Champions thread in early February. -

Jonathan Martin Retiring from Football

Wonder if he injured his back between OTAs and camp? Pretty sure he was a participant in OTAs and off-season workouts. -
Ian Rapoport @RapSheet 1m1 minute agoFormer #Dolphins & #49ers OL Jonathan Martin is retiring, source said. A back injury means surgery, and he’s choosing to walk away. Ian Rapoport @RapSheet 12s12 seconds agoMost recently, OL Jonathan Martin was claimed by the #Panthers. But his back injury meant he’d miss the year. He’ll be filing papers instead There goes some of our tackle depth. Back injury is news to me.

Roman Harper couldn't even get a finger on a Luke Wilson. Definitely need more speed in the secondary.

Arm tackles aren't going to cut it boys.

Sheesh Tolbert. Need to catch that.

Melvin White meet Marshawn Lynch.

What do you know? Byron Bell getting toasted. Won't miss that.

Addison is so damn fast.

Not adjusting after Chancellor jumped the line on the FG attempt on the first try and allowing him to do it again is inexcusable.

We found ourselves in third and long far too often this game.

Really excited for Stewart this season. If we can get him running downhill behind this improved offensive line he's going to have a career year.
-
Jacksonville is in for a rude awakening at their home-opener this season. This defense is going to feast and the big targets and Stew will just be too much for a tired defense.
-
If Stewart can stay healthy this season I have a feeling it will be a career year. I could really see him rushing for 1,300 and 12-15 TDs. I hope he can handle a load of carries week in and week out. We need to ride him.
