  1. Man the "just stepped out of a convenience store with a case of Busch and a pack of Marlboro reds" look suits him better than I would have thought.
  2. Washington Red Hogs would have been kind of cool as a sort of tribute to the Hogs of the late 80s/early 90s. One of the few callbacks to the history of that franchise that isn't disgusting or embarrassing.
  3. That's such a Panthers thing to happen though. The exact same number of wins as last year except one more loss because there's an extra game.
  4. If this movie and Goodfellas were the only two I could watch for the rest of my life I think I might be able to deal.
  5. We would have collapsed and corroded to the same state if JR was still here. He did have 1-15 and 2-14 seasons as the owner of this team.
  6. I'm going off topic here but I saw Tim and Eric on one of their tours when they did Amos' South End probably 10+ years ago. One of the most fuged up yet hilarious things I've ever seen in person.
  7. When I heard that Jay Z stuff I legitimately thought it was a joke. I didn't think it was real. Matt Rhule is like if Tim and Eric came up with an NFL coach.
  8. Why even bother moving the game to 4 today, nobody outside of the Carolinas or LA is going to see it: e: lol we sure got the Fox D team calling this one didn't we
  9. I have zero faith that Alvin Kamara won't fug us sideways today. As such I think the Saints get the W.
  10. This might be as epic a QB battle as the Todd Collins - Jimmy Clausen showdown from 2010 where they passed for a combined 93 yards and 5 INTs
  11. Who the hell is even starting at QB for the Saints today?
  12. Slightly ot but he's absolutely playing his ass off. If we can get anything like that then sign me up. Thanks to him Cincinnati might get their first playoff win since Super Mario Bros 3 was a hot new video game.
  13. Cameron Jordan runs to the Panthers bench in the first quarter and just starts punching Cam in the face. Panthers are penalized for an unsportsmanlike and the Charlotte Observer calls out Newton for his lack of leadership and immaturity. Cam says he has to handle getting assaulted better and it's not about him in the postgame presser. Early in the third quarter the Saints run out of QBs and call Alejandro Lastra down from the luxury box to kneel out the last 30 minutes of the game. Saints win 40-6 while Robby Anderson practices first down points on the sidelines.
  14. Reminds me of Bill Dauterive getting his rushing TD record back at Arlen High e: lol that kind of came across harsh. This was a cool story when it happened.
  15. Reminds me of the good old days in 2010 where I'd have people yelling poo at me out of their car if I was seen wearing a Panthers hoodie on the sidewalk
  16. lol damn you tell em Anyway time to put on my Let's Go Brandon hat and buy some more Black Rifle Coffee
  17. This is a cool little tidbit that I think people either forget about or weren't aware of considering the NFL's current status as a behemoth towering over all other American sports. Pro football was a curiosity and something of an experiment for the first few decades it was a thing. Teams folded and merged all the time, the league would barnstorm across the country playing exhibition games for exposure, and that kind of thing.
