    I was checking their boards the last few weeks and the overall theme was they definitely did not want to lose him. They were convincing themselves we would go another direction. Interesting

    It’s wild how coaching candidates get credit for these things when no one knows what he did to influence the situation. Maybe Geno got healthy and worked his ass off? Maybe Canalas was the sole reason. We don’t know. Canalas seems like a smart young coach with an even temperament. The rest is TBD

    I don’t disagree on that. Vrabel is a great coach IMO but he is clearly a tough guy to deal with…but that’s what people of substance do. They practice what they preach

    If by distant you include hugging and high fives and numerous interviews Not to mention Frank saying himself that Bryce was their guy

    I mean none of it matters. Canalas has to turn us around. What other people did or didn’t do is irrelevant It is fact that Canalas has never been a head coach. He doesn’t even know he can do it yet.

    Not just Frank Reich but most of the people in and covering the NFL had Bryce #1 including the TEXANS. Doesn’t matter now…CJ proved plenty but both can still be great players.

    Not from what I hear…in fact Vrabel wants roster control which may be a problem for these teams. Not to mention he is a guy you love or you hate. Not much in between

    We need at least 2 difference making WRs, a really good TE, a LT, G and C, and a RB. Gonna take more than 1 offseason without a miracle. I am totally ok with patience if we can fill positions with top notch players.

    Keeping Bryce informed is fine. Commendable actually. I see no problem whatsoever with this

    They will give Bryce every opportunity cuz there is no guarantees even with a QB in 25. I don’t completely disagree though if he shows no progress

    Vrabel was way too big a personality for Tepper to deal with.

    I will take a bite…I admittedly wanted Scoot but can’t deny now that Miller looks like the better player.

    He has us about as fugged up as we can be right now. But this man is really talented at it so we will see
