That INT is the perfect example of the coverage cheating I always talk about with Bryce on the field. They know they don’t have to respect certain routes. Especially the S. Safeties cheat and don’t play essentially how they are supposed to. Another opening day and another S not respecting the downfield threat and coming up to make plays because they all know what Bryce does

His first incompletion was his standard off target Bryce throw to an open TMac barely downfield His Renfrow miss was just a miss because he can’t get mustard on a ball with his limited arm drifting back Pick was just Bryce being dumb. Bad throw, lane open to run that’s his 3 incompletions. That’s all on Bryce. Not covered WRs.

Gameplan appeared to be run the ball and not ask Bryce to do much except make same basic throws. Not sure what changes you can really make to that.

SC State basically just shouldn’t punt lol. If they just went for it every down it might be a tight game. I knew the SC OL was a problem but SC State highlighting it is a tad concerning.
