  1. Vikings win came in after that post
  2. We are the worst team in all of professional sports and you want me to be quiet about the most important position on the team? Gotcha. I’ll take that into consideration. No promises though. if you don’t want to hear about Bryce Young…..probably a bad idea to be on a Panther forum though. He likely is going to be topic #1 no matter my voice.
  3. Literally in the post you quoted it states I hope he continues to improve as he will be the dude next year. I’m just saying he likely is close to hitting his head on the ceiling so might as well be realistic in how we talk going forward. Going to need a lot of defense to make this team worth watching. We need to go all in on D
  4. They were their worst versions of themselves because of us. We keep creating new problems and laying the blame at the wrong places. We had coaching issues. Personal issues. We blamed the QB. Now we got a QB issue. We blamed Frank. Eventually we likely blame Canales.
  5. Bryce has 27 starts and counting….never hit 300 yards passing. Never hit a 3 TD pass day. His pass production is like that of a running QBs minus all the ground production that compliments it. he just never has shown a glimpse of much at all. We are now celebrating functional. Hope he continues to improve as he will be the guy next year…..but you really have to keep the expectations down as he just doesn’t seem to have much of a ceiling at this level
  6. but then you get the Drew Lock type games. He isn’t in a great situation. Weak team and they don’t even want to play him…. and even he can light it up on a random Sunday
  7. Yeah, it’s the Drew Lock, Kenny Pickett, etc types that really leave you with doubt. With enough attempts, most QBs give some really good games. Bryce despite all his starts….his really good games are just decent game management. He never really shows any indication of a high ceiling play if you catch him on a good day.
  8. Canales has gotten away from the run consistently all season. I still don’t think he is anywhere close enough to be being good enough to be pulling double duty. We should hire a legit OC. Let him focus on being HC.
  9. Panthers sitting at #7. Giants just fumbled the bag. How you going to play a QB that just don’t give a fug like this guy and think you are safe lol New England Patriots: 3-13 record; .465 strength of schedule Tennessee Titans: 3-13; .509 SOS New York Giants: 3-13; .551 SOS Cleveland Browns: 3-12; .537 SOS Jacksonville Jaguars: 4-12; .472 SOS New York Jets: 4-12; .496 SOS Carolina Panthers: 4-12; .498 SOS Las Vegas Raiders: 4-12; .546 SOS Chicago Bears: 4-12; .553 SOS New Orleans Saints: 5-11; .513 SOS
  10. I think they want the power to decide what does and doesn’t happen though….like at every other level. they need to cancel those random bowls though.
  11. The big schools are already showing they want control back and acknowledging that’s it 100% gotten out of hand. That’s what they are doing the collective in 2025 and changing NIL requirements to fix what it morphed into. They will keep at it. College football accidentally found themselves in a situation where athletes have way too much power…..and sports has always course corrected that. The big boys are going to team up to restore power back to them in the end. They will team up because they know any of them can get screwed with the leverage players have. Cam Ward isn’t a student athlete. He is a professional QB. And everyone knows if the athletes can do whatever they want….any one of them can get screwed or held hostage. Maybe next time it’s a CFP game. Maybe they want a new check just to suit up. Maybe they want new checks for title games to be played. I think we are going to see a lot of new action from schools in the coming years.
  12. as things continue to evolve in college football..…I think you will see schools that pay big money through the collective start ensuring the deals include playing out full seasons/postseason play. it’s pay to play. It’s basically pro ball at the big schools. No way they let kids cash big checks and then let them sit going forward without penalty. You can’t do that in pay sports. Think college football is far from done fixing this monster they created.
  13. Think they had an opportunity to have Colorado actually play a variant of a BIG12 title game and took it. They never played anyone at the top of that conference this year so it was sort of weird. You never got a real look at how they even stacked up in conference.
  14. Miami HC addressing how they came to Cam Ward not playing in the 2nd half….”I’ll prefer not to answer that question as it relates to that”….. so let’s at least put to bed that the coaches just had to see what their backup QB had in him in the midst of a shootout. Because that’s an easy answer for a coach. But he couldn’t say it. Cam got his and took himself out.
  15. I mean you are pretending not to watch because your team is being exposed and can’t even beat decent BIG12 teams. It’s all flash. Little substance. Which is what you have been told about for 2 years now. Clemson won the ACC. Went to the CFP. And is in position with a some slight coaching changes on D… to actually compete next year for a real run. That’s the notes.
  16. your cope continues to be hilarious…Sanders isn’t tanking lol. Colorado is just being exposed as everyone knows they would be when they play good teams. And not even good teams, just BIG12 good.
  17. Yeah, every Bowl game is different. Some actually play. Some don’t. For example, Colorado and BYU both committed to actually playing in their games. Colorado pridefully making it known they were going full squad and not taking the game off against their first good BIG12 team they will face all season.
  18. The lazy Colorado can’t run the football narrative from Booger at the half. They could…they just don’t. They ran 5 random times for almost 4 a pop. Sanders took a 30 yard loss that wiped out the little running they did. They don’t want to run the ball in Colorado. It’s a choice they make in how they run their O.
  19. I feel like every game I watch he should have taken 5 more sacks than he did….and it be all on him.
  20. I mean, Dabo has a pretty good track record with QBs. He couldn’t get mid level ACC caliber play from DJU….and was super loyal about trying to find anyway to get it. 2 full seasons trying. Then 2 more teams tried. 3 years in the ACC and was pretty much the worst the ACC has seen in some time. I’d rather have the Gamecocks 5th string QB than stomach through watching him ever again
  21. DJU shouldn’t be drafted. He likely will late but there is a mile long list of better QBs who won’t even be drafted. But he has those “tools”
  22. Yeah. They got too caught up in their kitchen sink approach. Forgot they can just play football after that great setup
