Oakland was a perfect storm fluke. I continue to point to that AZ game. Been dominated ever since….just like we were after the AZ game. I’m not saying he needs to be fired right now. You obviously give him the season. I’m just open to it after this year if this season is horrible. And Morgan too.

If you take out the Bryce games for Canales you got to do it for Frank then. Frank didn’t want Bryce. and garbage Frank pulled off more with Bryce than QB guru Canales Patriots have the worst roster in the NFL. Not us. Not really close IMO. And they haven’t lost all their games by double digits.

I mean, those 2 could win here. Tepper’s issue is he employs horrible GMs and bad HCs. Over and over. And that becomes a compounding issue. Rhule, Frank and likely Canales….are just bad to weak hires. And you really knew that going in to all 3. Same with his GMs. And the GMs/HCs all compound the QB issue over and over. Tepper needs to turn this team over. Completely. Hire someone to run it and hire for it. All he should be doing is showing up in his box to watch games

It’s the NFL. Not really about giving HCs coaches huge grace. Frank was horrific here. Through 6 games, with better offensive tools, this guy hasn’t produced a better O. At some point, that matters. And as you said, defenses knew what Frank was doing. So….

looking just 6 games in… Canales has a much better OL than Frank. Better skill talent than Frank. A better QB overall through the 6 games…. and his O isn’t statistically better through 6 games than Frank was through 6.

agree, but that only works if you actually got a solid HC 5 years is also an eternity in todays NFL. You got to earn those years at the same time

He is an offensive coach/QB guru… I think the D can suck, we lose games we should still be able to judge him. AT missing games shouldn’t matter at all IMO. if all that works is Dalton, Dionte and Chubba….we should let Tepper do Tepper things IMO

I think you can basically only judge him on if he is developing the young guys and creating opportunities for them. Being an overly a Dionte/AT pass attack with Dalton and losing…..is pointless in the big picture.

I don’t think there are Bryce stans I commented before the season started, Evero was pretty much setup to shoulder the worst of this season. I still think that was largely design. Force the old guy on the new guy. Deplete the D. Then when the season is over you got a built in blame guy. Not that I was ever wowed by Evero…but it’s pretty obvious why the D is horrible and that’s Morgan’s office and what they set out to do this year

Thought the playcalling was bad last week. It should have been the Hubbard show and he got away from it. I don’t know how to comment on the Bryce games Oakland was good but sort of a perfect storm scenario I think the next couple weeks will tell us about him.

I think the QB guru was always a bunch of hogwash. he was always sort of uniquely cherry picked to be the reason guys played better. The first time he was clearly tasked to work on a QB….it went down the toilet. Fast. I’m largely indifferent. No real pros or cons to fixate on

Clemson, Army, Navy and Air Force are the only 4 schools not to use the portal. First 3 are in the top 25 this week. which is a bit of a middle finger to the narrative you have to join the mess or be left behind

That’s different math though 3 of the 4 non portal teams are in the top 25. That’s 75%. The football powers told you the these teams were all being left behind. 124 teams used the portal. 22 of those are in the top 25. 17%. point is simply, the football powers are all about ruining college football. The portal is indeed broken. And they spammed college football fans that teams that didn’t use the broken system were essentially doing college football wrong and would be left behind. Which doesn’t appear to be the case. something to be said about building and developing your guys Portal has its place. I still contend it’s broke and guys like Dabo are largely right about it all.

I don’t like anyone enough for our barebones team to gamble on them. Go draft some sure thing LB or something hard to screw up

4 teams in college football didn’t use the portal 3 of those 4 are now in the top 25. portal is nice for a random kid here or there. I think the overuse of it also presents a double edged sword at times. Too many random parts isn’t always going to trump teams that are building year after year

That’s literally been my only real critique of him. The QB. I don’t think in big moments he goes for the big play too much. But that’s not a major one, That 4th and 5. Think there were smarter plays. but that’s a big concern trying to transition to the NFL. It’s a much bigger flaw to a QBs game at the next level. I wish Colorado would get away from the 4 wide hero ball scheme they essentially force him into. I still think they could win more games if they tweaked things. It would also help get him out of the bad habits he is building on part of the reason the reason he doesn’t have a run game to work off of is just scheme and playcalling. They had like negative 30 rushing last night. That’s not talent. That’s on the coaches. They got the talent to run in that conference.

I rarely watch BIG10 teams but they always look meh when I do and the team isn’t Ohio St. Penn St about to go down

Jordan Legette IMO was better than Allen. Both Allen’s (Dwayne) and Jake. Clemson has had a lot of good TEs at the college level.
