I think you will see some sort of shakeup. I don't know what that is. But the boo birds will most definitely come out and be loud. And historically, David Tepper HATES that. I think if you read the room, the Panther fanbase will not have tons of patience this Sunday. Hard to guess what it could be as how we lay an egg would influence the shakeup. I think Evero is in play (I personally think he is only employed to be a sacrificial lamb) I think Canales turning playcalling over is in play (we saw those orders before) I think if Bryce has 2-3 turnover day with some ugly ones a game off could be in play If you can hear the boos loudly on TV, in the stadium and we get embarrassed, Tepper is going to have a very stern Monday morning meeting.

you called the post that he only turned on his "baller switch" in garbage time a lie....and listed games in the same post. there was a separate post where I said we haven't been competitive w/ Bryce. so we probably are mushing the two things together. As far as the non-competitive statement, no we haven't been competitive with Bryce. We are 6-24 with Bryce. That's not competitive. Was the AZ game last year competitive and did we win? Sure. That wasn't because of Bryce. Was the Eagles game close? Sure. That wasn't because of Bryce, Bryce played poorly. That was because the Eagles laid an egg and kept it close.

the problem with the we need more time mindset as this point.......is we know time will not change many issues Bryce Young has. Most importantly, he just flat out doesn't have the physical tools you want in a NFL QB. And those issues are at the foundation of why he is such a bad QB to date.
-
He was horrible all game....except the window AZ let him take checkdowns to bleed the clock away. It really can't be viewed any other way. personally, I hate the strategy AZ employed because it can lead to exactly what we saw if your O falters. You essentially are letting a team back in by design.

but you specifically were alluding to games Bryce was able to flip a switch and balled in....when it wasn't garbage time. You protested that he didn't only flip the switch and ball in garbage time and listed games. just naming a close game doesn't equate to Bryce therefore balled. Which is what I was calling out. He didn't "ball out" in those games I selected from your list. Bar is so weirdly low w/ Bryce.

it's not apples to apples as Keary Colbert's rookie season was better....but XL is about to make Colbert's sophomore regression look like nothing.

The Panthers have been the opposite of competitive under Bryce Young.

I Feel Bad For All of You - Thank God for Tetairoa McMillan

yeah, looks like we finally hit on a classic Marty Hurney type first round pick. It's been awhile since we have had that. -

as bad the the defense is.....they allowed points on just 2 drives (10 points) Sunday where the drive started in AZ territory. We all know we got a bad defense.... but the Panthers O allowed a TD Cards started a drive on the Carolina 48 (FG) Cards started a drive on the Carolina 45 (TD) D is really bad.... but a lot of those Cardinal points were just exclusively because our D stinks. -
G waiting on Bryce to give them the go sign. G alerts the C. The C doesn't want to literally snap it exactly on the touch or the DL tees off. I would really like to know that Corbett/Bryce exchange. Corbett's back was to the camera. Things were said. You only see Bryce's body language.

Yeah, Bryce Young didn't actually play well in a LOT of those games you are listing. This is part of the comeback myth. He wasn't balling in a lot of those games you are pretending he did. He didn't ball vs the Eagles. or the Giants. or Cards. or Saints. 60% for 160 yards isn't an example of Bryce Young "bringing it". That's what he did in those 4 games. KC and Tampa Bryce was basically just NFL average. He had a great one game of his career vs Atlanta. The Bryce Curve is what people use to view 2024. He wasn't good. And we should of rebuilt our QB room under the realistic assumption he would likely need to benched in 2025 (we didn't).

AZ didn't even have a good pass rush. We just declare it great because Bryce imploded when pressure got in. Murray found himself in that same type scenarios Bryce did. Instead of it resulting in horrible turnovers.....he made a couple really big plays when the auto pressure got in. Canales/Bryce solved nothing. Cardinals implemented the give you free short passes in exchange for clock strategy. What happens there is generally the team you easily beat gets back into the game to some degree. Cardinals just saw the worst case variety of it. But played D the final series and ended it with relative ease.

I know we got some eagerly looking forward for the PFF grades and access to that all22.....to build the garbage time checking down Bryce was actually pretty dang good Sunday and it was once again, everyone else.

I don't see how we can keep up w/ Miami's offense. It will have a field day vs our D. And we struggle vs bad defense.
-
and penalties bailed him out of 2 of the worst looking turnovers you could of seen in the NFL through 2 weeks.
-
I had them at 6 wins going in….but you gotta drop that down at this point. Some opponent will lose and gift us a game or two. 3 seems about right.

Sounds like he knew it was bad. Corbett did too postgame.

So, just what is it that makes a QB "elite"?
CRA replied to Brooklyn 3.0's topic in Carolina Panthers
I’m not sure if I can define elite but if Bryce’s career ended today…. we would be debating the Clausen, Carr section of the Panthers rankings and where Young plugs in. Which is below the Teddy, Allen section. -
Watching Hubbard run shouldn’t award him with a GWD

Well, your question was framed and implied I was only talking about go routes. Like the big under throw on the TMac one from week 1. I’m talking about more than that which is all I explained. and if he just misses and puts up bad throws…. than he would do that to Randy Moss too. Now would Megatron and Julio make lemonade out of lemons more than lesser WRs? Sure
-
I’m talking anything that gets vertical or to the sideline. Not just homerun go routes. And his ball placement and accuracy in general is super spotty. He is late a lot too. it’s a bunch of things with Bryce. I think really the game just moves too fast for him generally speaking given all his handicaps. He likely will play a little better as the season goes on like last year. But the ceiling I think is forever low given he just lacks physical traits/tools.

I still don’t think we should pretend Morgan wasn’t part of Bryce.
