What helps Bryce Young’s stock rise….is Andy Dalton continuing to suck like he has the last couple weeks. worse Dalton plays….higher the odds you of the compensation/pick we can get for Bryce. because then more buy into the narrative that it’s just Carolina as problem #1. See basically every QB.

Rhule should have never seen that 3rd season. He was a dead man walking going in. A pointless season before week 1 kicked off. Sort of like starting Bryce off as the QB season….bad QB, no reps, in a system that didn’t fit him. It was pointless before the opening kick. That’s what irritates me.

Makes me realize Rhule is the GOAT of his HC hires to date

1. Bryce. Obviously. BUT my #2….is Baker. Part of the reason Baker sucked is because we never let him be the dude. And that’s what he is….he is the dude. We should have never had the bogus Sam Darnold comp and just turned it over to this guy. Look, he is the people’s quarterback!!! Bryce, Sam, Andy, Teddy, etc ain’t doing that. Only Baker and of course PJ Walker would consider putting in a fat lip because…they are for the people.

Heck, Dalton keeps playing like he had the last couple weeks….and Bryce being terrible could look like a tiny improvement. Dalton should have back to back games with multiple INTs and pick sixes. Pick 6 streak is intact merely because a Falcon opted to go down out of mercy

sure doesn't seem like this team really had plans though....(which is my main complaint). given they benched Bryce after week 2. And didn't play him all preseason. And didn't add someone legit to go along with Andy if Bryce was in the plans.

probably not trading him just because of how embarrassing it will be. We get like a 4th round pick.....after trading away 8 billion draft picks and gutting our roster of studs.

I mean, I don't dismiss that the dude is in a horrible spot. but honesty (or at least a more honest approach) is better approach than the gymnastics this dude is trying to pull. Just say, we feel Bryce was rushed into the role. We are focused on him developing this year behind the scenes. Things don't have to be hard. And you should of talked to Morgan to add a backup to QB to insert to take lumps in beatdowns. Boom. Done. I mean, you already botched going into this year. Where you should of added another legit prospect if you were going to wash your hands of Bryce so quick.

I mean, if it's going to keep getting worse....might as well be an entertaining variety. I'm also open to John Fox returning and Jake Delhomme setting some record as the oldest QB in NFL history. We can bring 89 back too. Like that commercial with Emmitt, Moss, etc.

I mean, most post addressed it. he had a choice in bringing in some competition that could of challenged Andy Dalton for when the QB he didn't believe in failed. He opted not to do that. He put little effort into fixing Bryce and it went horrific. So let's assume he knew he would be benching Bryce.....well, he had opted not to add other QBs. Who he could of been playing all preseason to take Dalton's 2 spot. Then or now. I didn't say Bryce was good under Frank. I said Bryce was better under Frank than Canales and that is saying something....given the HUUUGGGGEEEEE difference in talent around the QBs. Specifically OL. I'm cool with him not playing Bryce. I think once again, the plan for this season was complete dogwater. And we are seeing that. And I think Canales and Morgan both should be taking legit heat for it. Especially given Bryce was sacked week 2 (which again, I am cool with that in a vaccum). Not cool with their plan and now the results. we straight up wasting money too. All that cash on the OL. We ain't developing diddly. Anywhere.

well, he is the dude the went into the season with Bryce #1.....and no legit talent or competition added to the roster. He could of added a legit 3rd QB that could of pushed Dalton potentially out of the way if he wasn't a believer. He opted not to. Reality is Bryce was worse under Canales than Frank.....and Canales had a substanially better setup than Frank. and now Dalton is playing like Bryce despite again, being in a much better setup. Canales should be pressed IMO about the O. I've said I'll give him a pass on the D and actually winning. But this joke O falls on him to a large degree.

1000% the worst Panther team. The worst of all time is probably over our skis. Weinke Panthers were probably the most competitive bad Panther team. The Clausen and Bryce Panthers had comparable O.....and substantially defensive talent.
