Well we missed on draft picks AND free agents so its a start.

I said emphatically that the franchises fortunes would not change until the scouting dept was overhauled. Way too many misses on draft picks. Mr Scot and Juan both said to wait until after the draft. Glad to see it happen.

I’d bet on a trade back from the 1st pick in the third rd. There’ll be alot of talent still on the board and we could possibly pickup and extra third or a 3 & a 4. Stay put in the 2nd and improve the damn team.

I’ve always been of the opinion, and said before that not much will change until the scouting department is overhauled. The number of draft picks that we’ve missed on is inexcusable. I know that a few of those scouts are holdovers (Cole spencer, morrow). Not sure how culpable they are/were in the terrible drafting but we couldn’t have been much worse in the last few years.
