  1. It's evaluating Morgan and it was not a good move. And fixed it for you.
  2. They could have saved some cap for other positions and still upgraded from poo to good. Everyone knew we needed OGs but going out and buying the most expensive options did not help Young and the D sure needs some of that money. Now they can't go out and spend on a free agent next year at QB that isn't a prove it deal and will probably have to roll with another rookie QB with the cap they put into the oline.
  3. You had me until last year broke him. I saw him break this year when he threw his first pass in the regular season. You could see it on his face. Not playing him last year just delays the inevitable even if it was the move they should have made before all the pro-ready BS.
  4. Duh. An old arm is better than no arm...
  5. Hard to sit a guy when you talked for weeks about him being so pro-ready.
  6. The opposite of a unicorn is a basilisk I think. Poisonous and turns things to stone. Baby yaga also fits.
  7. The city of Charlotte and that giant wasted bag of cash they are giving/gave him is my guess.
  8. If it's a basketball player then who gives a fug? If it's a football player then get your coach to go trade for him or STFU. Pretty simple. She is better than just clickbait BS
  9. It looks like Caroll's to me. Smart enough to know they need to run but not smart enough to run when they need to do so. It's the 2016 SB failure in a nutshell. It's more updated than Fox ball but it also not new or innovative.
  10. I don't think it exists in the NFL. I think you put him at Miami and it's a spread offense where he gets the ball off too slow and even with that speed it's 2 yard gains.
  11. I'm not sure going out and buying the most expensive OGs at top market prices was the best move. Especially if your QB doesn't play in the pocket and a HC that doesn't run enough. Some of the hype has already popped from his moves for sure.
  12. Last years crew was a nightmare and it tore itself apart. This one isn't impressive but it's also not that. They also earned the #1 pick they pissed away in a terrible trade last year regardless of wins for a QB that can't play at this level. It's really not a hill worth fighting over.
  13. There was a lot going on behind the scenes last year. Frank might have had to liea little bit to get the benching he wanted last year, even if it was for 1 game. To fake an injury you also have to get the player on board or it will blow up in your face. Young was most likely not 100% in that one game. This year the staff appears way more collaborative. Not better but less knives....so far.
  14. Caldwell...ugh. It's hard to say we are better or worse. The set up of the Reich year was so bad even if his experience is really missed this year. This one is not looking good either. IDK yet. I wouldn't be praising either at this point. DC has done 1 thing I see as a greenflag and I don't even know if it was really his call.
  15. It was obvious Young was always going to struggle regardless. You have been absolutely right about the bad marriages but I think your wrong about Dalton. I'm way more concerned about his health than his fit in DC's offensive scheme. I also want to see what his in game coaching looks like with a QB that can make the most basic throws. I'm not very confident or impressed so far but it needs to be seen without the Young excuse.
  16. It also appears it wouldn't have made any difference. It wasn't a good strategy but is the outcome going to change in the end? I don't think so. Rookie HC who is woefully inexperienced makes a bonehead mistake. But that was also the same staff they could get to even come here.
  17. Absolutely. I also find it entertaining this is the flip side of all that publicity leading up to that draft where the team was happy to stand in front of a mic and talk holding the #1 pick. It's a poo stew and I hope Tepper loves this part as much as he loved trading up and being the center of the universe for a few weeks.
  18. All the random opnions are coming out now from every direction about the benching. I do wonder how many of these people have ever watched him play this year...or even last year.
  19. I would love to see a move for a QB but I don't think it happens yet. I think everyone wants to see what it all looks like without Bryce. If it's not too bad then he really might not get another shot which would lead to a QB acquisition hopefully. Stash him, trade him or whatever works. First comes this next game and a chance for everyone else to prove it wasn't them.
  20. I think okay football would be such an improvement. I'm just talking about a semi-functional offense that looks like it's in the NFL level. I don't have to watch Bryce play and I could care less about wins vs just seeing guys get a chance to not get rolled.
  21. Carr carr'ed himself. 7 step drops and poor mechanics were worse to him than that bad oline. He was shot when he threw that first pass for a pick. You could see it on his face. No hit needed. It's a bad take and such a cope out.
  22. Has he been worse or did enough around him get better to where he is completely exposed? His stats sure but doesn't he just look like the same guy from the last game of '23? DC is very inexperienced vs Reich being the old hand so it makes sense that he would handle the situation a little better the the 1st time HC and 1 year OC but I'm still not convinced he has regressed. I think he is showing what it looks like when his WRs do get open or when his line does block. He just has a very green HC/OC combo vs last year.
