  1. From being signed on Thursday to maybe starter on Sunday? I don't think so. Go look at his body of work and you will see he isn't a Vinny T kind of Vet. Bryce is going to start with Dalton hurt (and terrible to boot) and White coming in from the dark (and also terrible too).
  2. Go a head and IR Dalton too. It's almost like they should have taken the QB #2 spot a little more seriously in the offseason.
  3. I'm torn. It's easy to crap on Hubbard and Rico is doing well. This team is dogpoo without an effective running game. If we had a decent QB I wouldn't care but we are 1 injury away from needing to run the Wildcat and even without that injury they still need to be running the ball more than throwing. Otherwise sure why not? Bigger issue is the offensive calls and the OC/HC has no idea how to rotate or spell players.
  4. That's why so many said he wasn't worth it here, there was only DB and it wasn't enough. If Burns is feasting then the other guys in NY are doing enough already, Burns is just collecting the stats. It's what he eas built for and is finally in his perfect space to succeed. Im not as in on the new guys yet. More is an understatement but the good news is that they are rookies.
  5. Burns had over 10 sacks in 1 season here and that was with Brown. That's a fact. He isn't a game changer, he is a guy who feast when he is a role player surounded by enough tslent that teams can't easily focus on him. It wasn't just turning down that trade that pooped in the punch bowl. It was saying how special he was the entire time because they had so little talent on the roster to promote while also negotiating like he wasn't special enough to turn down that trade.
  6. Take a vet and draft one too (early or later). Young hasn't shown anything worth his 5th year option but this team loves bad decisions.
  7. I thought they would try and hide Bryce this week and roll him back out agaisnt the Saints but with Dalton looking as bad as feared it might be the plan. Lose lose really.
  8. I forgot to run the guy who just had 2 great games of almost 200 yards a pop, then the Jets game they almost gave away while trying to figure out how to work Hubbard back in some and then went agaisnt a poor run D while getting blown out not running Rico. DC ain't it
  9. Just forget about those scrambles too while they are at it
  10. I completely agree and thanks for thr clarification. Everything about this build feels that way and is a big part of me wanting this build to end...even when I know he is goibg to mess up the next build too.
  11. DC built the offense Young could run but it's too limited and relies on a effective run game and/or a poor opponent. Where I disagree is that DC and DM being held hostage to what they signed up for equaling getting a chance to prove it's not them but the Teppers. They absolutely could have snuck a better QB into the mix vs resigning Dalton. If they couldn't have done even that then the next QB won't be their's either. Lots of debate on both but 'the guy they chose and belive in' is a dead end already since they are operating in the space they were hired to operate in while not being able to find anyone better than Dalton. Either by choice, having zero choice in the matter or by personal faults. None of those should equal go save us at QB IMO
  12. Yep and that's how we got what we got but that in no way changes what I said either. They had a chance to bring in another body and chose Dalton, Hooker and Plumber.
  13. Both took the job when that was the reason they were both hired in the first place. They followed that up by keeping Dalton as option B. That excuse is dead.
  14. I have as much worry that moving on from Bryce will burn thr team any more than when we move on from Andy or Corbett or when we moved on from Ian Thomas. Unless he finds a team that has HOF WRs and a 150 yard a game RB there is no chance you will constantly see good Bryce. They will never build that around Bryce here when he is almost at his 5th year option and the last chances to stack a team around a rookie contract is freaking hilarious to me. The closest chance he had left is leaving here and going somewhere on the cheap that has those things until they give him a starter range QB contract which would just be Bryce here again. It's all a dead end with Bryce any way you look at it except the fantasy takes.
  15. I think the guys at the lower end of the athletic traits spectrum tend to be really noticable when they lose anything. Andy was never a freak in any category.
  16. Andy started to fall apart in 2018 with a torn thumb ligament and only had one 3k+ year after that, 2019. Not all QBs can play until 40 but a non-running QB falling apart at 32 is a bit surprising. He hit that cliff hard by 2020.
  17. He Is basically the HC of the D. I really do not like this build at all.
  18. DC had Rico and chose to run Hubbard. DC could have asked for anyone else but went with Dalton Hooker and Plumber? as the QBs he wanted even if he inherited Bryce. Moore still has a spot on the roster. Corbett over Mays at center. These are things he chose and are on him.
  19. He was out coached by a HC in his first HC game this year. That's how the season started. He brought back Andy. He never has the team ready at the begining of the year. Corbett at center over Mays. Moore and Scott are still on the team. Rico behind Hubbard. Not admiting the entire team relys on the run game to not only work but excel. He isn't very good. Him picking his own QB isn't enough of an excuses to gloss over the issues.
  20. He also doesn't respond well to constant pressure or secure the ball well. It would have been a different view of the same thing.
  21. Playing the bad teams early gave a sense that things were better than they are and playing the good teams when they are hitting their stride on the way to the playoffs are going to be brutal. The yearly stats are already adjusting hard. A bottom 1/3 O and a D dropping fast into the middle 3rd and falling.
  22. The bad teams couldn't or wouldn't take the obvious approach against the Pa there but most of those games are done. GB will absolutely attack their weaknesses again. It's hard to expect quality adjustments from this crew either.
  23. If the Panthers can't run and keep running expect the same as last game regsrdless of QB playing. The Packers are in a different teir and it will show again. 30 - 10 woukd be a decent loss, could be a lot more again.
  24. They had a chance to upgrade that spot and they paid Dalton again after watching him for 2 years. Nothing is going to save them from that mistake at this point. They hope to have Bryce out there getting ate up by better teams soon I guess.
