  1. That's XLs music, holy hell..... I honestly didn't know this. The past 20 years of draft history for 1st round TEs is very clear- avoid
  2. Why would the rams tell the league- " Hey that QB rated in the 2-4 range, we are strongly thinking of drafting Milroe in the 1st" I get its a Twitter rumor, but that's something smart team wouldn't do specially if you have him rated much higher than the other 31 teams...odd
  3. What I heard fox paid him, I thought it was insane. Then it was explained to me by someone in the business, fox is buying the rights for Tom Bradys time. Theres more than calling a 3.5 hour game with his responsibilities. He's very known and people would pay to meet him, hear him speak, or just be in the same room. It's similar to politicians getting paid to eat or speak at events. Being around a celebrity is a huge deal for many football fans. He's the goat like it or not, fox has many sponsors and having Brady under contract control allows for more favors and most important more money making opportunities.
  4. Maybe they all had similar base salary and Denver upped their SB to get it done. He could get cut easy and be right back on the market. I bet the Panthers had a offer in the pile too, its just hard for teams to add ST specialist that dont kick, punt, or snap.
  5. I think Greg is the best current NFL analyst.
  6. The safety market is the worst, but great for teams. Teams waive players during and right after the draft, couple good fits may hit the market. Blackmon and Williams came in for visits. I even think the trade market could be a path too. I am getting somewhat worried, but wait until days after the draft before the panic button is needed. Heres the thing too, maybe Richardson is ready, that would be a nice surprise. He set some all-time tackles record for rookies, first game he had like 15 or something. He followed it up for more and didn't give up big plays or big mistakes.
  7. Im mainly memeing in here, other teams had offers and camp invites. I've listened to gates on a pod and he was asked how? Gates said the best thing he had going was he wasn't taught how to play TE in college. NFL taught him the right ways first. Paired with being a great learner and toughness, He became a HOFer. He also gave props to Rivers. Like many things its a combo of perfect timing, luck, talent, and just plain hard work. I mean is a division II UDFA is a better signing for the 90, maybe....both have insane odds to overcome.
  8. I've never seen someone with 17 offers. The remaining question- who will be calling dbrown fat now??
  9. He's only played in 4-3 and been one of the best DEs. Now he wants the sunset special at 30 years old. I don't see how this made it to random rumor status.
  10. The NFL is trying to boost day two rating? Even him in the 3rd is high, but more than a few GMs and scouting departments must have given the NFL enough proof for them to do this.
  11. He was a team captain for ST last year. I think he's a great gunner and 4 phase guy. Doesn't have much a role on D, I missed the boat on that. I thought he could develop into a WLB, but he's remained a specialist. Panthers do have terrible development skills, maybe canales can finally change that.
  12. Mel kiper Jr had dart in the top ten last week, going to the iants. Others have had him in the top ten as well, better drafters than mel. There is buzz, Im as confused as Nix and Penix Jr. last year. No one, I repeat no one had penix to the failcons.
  13. LOL@ prince!! but that guy had tendon strength and would D you up- it didn't matter PG, SG, SF, PF.
  14. "All I got to do is block 6'5 285 LBs edges??... I got diss "
  15. I agree, there are other ways to get open. AT when healthy shows proof as well. Jason Witten got open til he was 37, retired and came back. Plus just like Tmac, he was the whole show on offense. Teams just had to focus on warren, still couldn't stop him. Unlike all the players I want, warren is great human. I also agree he would put in all the time. I still have huge reverses about even getting a little open to the point where the QB would toss him a pass. I'll say this, let a offense mind get a hold of him (Reid, mcvay, shanny, O'Connell, etc) I believe that could decide his career. Panthers don't have one of those coaches.
  16. It seems I only like the most troubled prospect this draft- Tmac, Nolen, Pearce Jr, green....... Im a toxic magnet ...
  17. I just worry about him being able to separate and get space/open. I personally do not think he will be able to get targets due to LBs, safety, and DBs being inside his jersey.
  18. Again Im speaking in top ten terms. You want 6'5 285 LBs with off-chart drills. He's got the drill part, but just alittle small. Von miller is the only edge/OLB that's been able to hold his own in both run and pass defense. Reddick outside the the top ten, but insane drill/combine. You want garrett, watt, or alt. Real freaks, thats the main point of draft 8th or better overall- the total package.
  19. I think he does, but right this moment I think some team trades into 4-7. I believe what everyone else has- ward, Carter, and hunter are the top three locks. After that either Campbell, trade/snaders, Walker, jeanty are the next picks in no order. Panthers take Williams with Graham on the board.

lots of nuggets in here- https://www.sportskeeda.com/author/tony-pauline-dda89
  21. I mean the main reason for not talking about ezeiruaka at 8 is cause no one else has. I think he's in the massive size tier 2 group 4-44... He's short if your talking top ten traits......which is why Im not high on walker. He could be rising as we post in this thread, wait until one week before and you may hear him into the top ten.
  22. Carter to 3, would cause the trade calls to light up. I don't see giants and Carter a match. They already have too much invested at edge. The gamblers called this days ago. It still feels like ward, Carter, and hunter will be the first 3 picks.
  23. Draft forum, but only the real ones post/view it.
  24. Im right there with you. This is a good-great year for drafting mid-round QBs. Plus if there is ateam that can carry 3 QBs, its the Panthers. It would be good insurance if BY gos awful again or his asking price is spacey. The staff or Dave is a modern QB "guru", let him pick one starting in the 4-5 rounds.
