I'm talking about athletic ability. I think Russ didn't run too much at Wisconsin. What did he have like 200 rushing yards that year? When you have Gibbs ready for the ball to be dumped off you use that over your undersized QB.

I'm just talking about his speed and elusiveness. They obviously aren't going to ask him to run that much with his size. He was dodging some NFL talent these past couple years and made it look easy.

I think Bryce is more athletic than we are giving him credit for. I was watching some of his tape yesterday and he was evading NFL talent DL to make his throws. He is quick and has a pretty quick release. It's like a mini Burrow as Manning said. He will dodge a few players and set his feet for a quick throw in traffic. I don't know how far off his is from Russ in his running/scrambling ability his frame is just way smaller.

I wouldn't be surprised if he played baseball. He would make one hell of a shortstop.

He isn’t the same size as Brees. Brees has 2 inches and like 20 pounds on him. That’s like saying Brees and Mahomes are the same size. I don’t think it’s worth passing on him, but it’s something to consider.

I do think he will struggle early in Houston. They just can’t afford to keep waiting for another QB. Are they going to roll with Mills again? Whoever they draft they need to get some OL and weapons. I lean Stroud, but the more I read about Young the more I like him. I’ll be excited with either one.

I call BS on that. No you, but Houston passing on a QB this year doesn’t make sense. I remember Watson having issues with pressure (actually worse because he threw INTs) and he cleaned it up well in the NFL. Purdy was another one that needed rhythm in college to play well. Stroud cleaned his up as the season progressed (obviously not to Young’s level). If that is really the case Houston should be calling us for a trade up.

I think Young could look better in Houston than Stroud. He is currently better at playing when a play breaks down than Stroud. I feel like that could happen often in Houston. Both could look good here with our OL, running game, and staff.

I’ll give it a watch. Curious to see what they say about what could be our franchise QB.
