Justin Fields 61 yard rushing touchdown

Wildcat at best? Man you are going too extreme to hide the fact you might be dead wrong about this player. it’s comical at this point. -

Lol at people hating on this young QB because he can run too. He is looking like he is turning a corner. Get him an OL and some weapons this offseason and he might be the real deal. Haters are just mad because they already proclaimed him a bust his rookie season. -

Yeah we don’t need a Brad Johnson unless he brings that Buc defense with him. Nick Foles won a ring and will be available. Let’s just cut Corral and sign Foles and Flacco with your logic. Hell they are pocket passers too! Perfect! Any of these 3rd rounders go on IR their rookie year and have the coach that selected them get fired midseason? I know Russ didn’t… (he is also a dual threat so be careful when you bring up his name) -
Brugler: Next year's quarterbacks "not universally loved"
ForJimmy replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yeah Allen was 56% his last two years at Wyoming. If you are looking at accuracy I can see some similarities. The odds of him becoming another Allen are slim, but if you are looking at absolute ceiling, that name will come up. -

Why go for Russ when you can have Brady? Let’s get our new QB in the 6th/7th round! -

His completion % is on par with Allen's his final year at Wyoming. He may be able to get it higher as he has been playing better lately. Allen has worse weapons, but played against weaker competition. I know he is an outlier, but when you are talking about absolute ceiling, Allen has to come in mind for best case scenario. -

Probably willing to trade down with a QB desperate team. -

Eagles OC has helped Hurts with his accuracy issues. He could be paired nicely with Richardson… -

If you never land a QB the HC/GM won’t be around long either. Ask Rhule and now the Colts HC. -
QB3 could land him in a franchise with a better situation as well. Going number one to the worst team isn’t ideal usually…

New GM this year for the Vikings. If we keep Fitt, he is probably going to want to keep the guy he traded this year’s 3rd to acquire and at least give him a shot to make the roster.

PFF grades from Week 9 loss to Bengals

Barno needs more playing time. Moore and TMJ could be a nice 1 2 combo for our rookie QB and we really need to extend Bozeman. These are my PFF overreactions. -
Time to bust out paper bags on heads at the Thursday Night game?

Are we wearing black helmets? If so that changes things… -
Good catch on Sanders. If his dad gets a D1 job like at Auburn, I’m sure his son will transfer with him. If he puts up numbers in D1 he could become a hot name in that 24 draft class.

You are the only person who thinks Russ Wilson (younger Russ) and Josh Allen aren’t dual threat QBs. It’s not a good argument if you have to make up categories that doesn’t align with any other person or analyst.
-
Yeah he said dual threat QBs never win Super Bowls in which we brought up Steve Young and Russ Wilson, so we went to this drawing board and reclassified them into a "mobile" QB status. It's a lot easier to just say oh yeah I was wrong several have won a Super Bowl.... but here we are.
-
I brought this to his attention in another thread so he has used his own random classification system to magically make Corral a "mobile" QB which he is ok with. I mean Ole Miss called running plays for him all the time in the RPO, but that doesn't matter....
-
Yeah interviews will be extra important for Levis and Richardson. I might be slightly higher on Richardson as he is starting to look better over the past few games. Shows he is learning and applying himself to get better at the position already... Hell Richardson looked better than Hooker against UGA's defense.

https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/even-with-jalen-hurts-still-developing-eagles-offense-has-become-highly-efficient-machine/ Catering to his athleticism with rollouts PAs etc. They are using him in the power running game (which can be a young QBs best friend) to keep the offense balanced and some of these schemes are putting his weapons in space to make up for his accuracy issues. That article does a way better job of breaking it down than I do. They have kind of simplified the offense while he is still developing.

It's about getting the right coach and having him help select his QB. Then having a system that plays to that QBs strengths. I'm kind of looking at how the Eagles have handled Hurts as a nice example of playing to that QB's strengths.

He wants to avoid dysfunctional teams. We have no chance...
