Rapoport: Tepper to be patient with RhuleForJimmy replied to kungfoodude's topic in Carolina Panthers Must be patient, but wins must come. Umm sorry but one is preventing the other from happening.

Good size, smart, athletic, great arm, and stays calm while going through progressions. He can work his way into the top of the draft.

	We need a new Cam!
-
I like him, but I don’t think he does anything on an elite level to make him a first rounder. He is smart and solid, but runs a pass friendly offense.
-
He had a nice road win at Wisconsin a couple games ago. If he lights up Oregon he will have the media’s attention.

Panthers were one pick away from Justin Herbert...ForJimmy replied to PantherBoy95's topic in Carolina Panthers Yep. When other teams know exactly what plays the offense is running, it’s hard to find success.

https://www.si.com/nfl/draft/scouting-reports/cameronward He has a big game this weekend against Oregon! Hopefully he crushes it.

This guy can’t even troll right. Why is he still here??

Easy fix here, draft Bryce Young and hire Ken DorseyForJimmy replied to GOAT's topic in Carolina Panthers If we are drafting a QB I’m not 100% on Flores. Tua has looked like a new QB under McDaniels. Now if we can somehow get Flores as the DC, sign me up right now!

Getting rid of the DBO sign....

The jury is out, but he got his young QB plenty of weapons and is making priority number 1 developing him and catering an offense for him to succeed. That is the name of the game in today's NFL.

Will this franchise ever have an "offense minded" head coachForJimmy replied to TheBigKat's topic in Carolina Panthers Serious question, if we land a Jim Harbaugh and have a top 3 pick do you think he rolls with Corral or drafts his own QB?

Agree but I'll add Icky, Moton ,and possibly BC. OLs are hard to build and if we already have a cheap (outside of Moton) foundation in place that will help a lot.

Easy fix here, draft Bryce Young and hire Ken DorseyForJimmy replied to GOAT's topic in Carolina Panthers Oh no doubt, but he has also played Florida A&M, APP St, and Georgia St. I'm curious to see how he does against an average defense if they play any this year.

Easy fix here, draft Bryce Young and hire Ken DorseyForJimmy replied to GOAT's topic in Carolina Panthers Against who? So did Sam Howell 2 years ago... Trying to plan for a QB 2 years away isn't a good idea.

The Athletic NFL podcast - Whats next for the PanthersForJimmy replied to mrcompletely11's topic in Carolina Panthers New HC/GM and draft a QB in the top 10 is the quickest way to fix this mess. Trade away the expensive assets like CMC and if we can get a return for RA/Shaq (otherwise cut them). We should have a decent OL for a young QB to learn behind plus DJ Moore and some cheap young WRs in TMJ and Shi. We have a rough year next year, but after that the cap doesn't look too bad.

Easy fix here, draft Bryce Young and hire Ken DorseyForJimmy replied to GOAT's topic in Carolina Panthers Young has some great arm talent and with recent successes of Murray and Russ in today’s NFL I’d imagine he still gets drafted early. I don’t believe Leak was even drafted. Leak didn’t have that great of an arm. Weak arm for the NFL plus small frame is a bad combo.

Robbie Anderson: Fans shouldn't bring negative energyForJimmy replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers Don’t call this team sorry! Stop being a fake fan with that negative energy….

So he would struggle behind our starting OL against another starting defense with equal or greater talent? Good to know…

Sean Payton to coach in 2023 for the right teamForJimmy replied to Ja Rhule's topic in Carolina Panthers He will be 59 turning 60 next year. It’s clear he wants to get into broadcasting to me. So I’m having trouble seeing how he is a long term solution? He was great with the Saints but retired after only one season without Brees in which he went 9-8 and missed the playoffs (lost to Darnold and Rhule also). What makes anyone think he wont leave to be a broadcaster after a year or two without instant success. Now do we trust Tepper and Fitt not to get crushed by NO in a trade for their HC? We are almost certainly going to have a high draft pick (that should be used on a QB) that NO will gladly take off our hands plus more. I think Tampa gave up 2 firsts and a second plus money to get Gruden from a team they rarely face. So we would have Sean Payton with no QB, no cap space (2023), and no draft picks. How long before he leaves that mess after a losing season or two?

Sean Payton to coach in 2023 for the right teamForJimmy replied to Ja Rhule's topic in Carolina Panthers Yep. Young franchise QB, great pieces on the OL, several weapons in Ekler, Allen, and WIlliams. PLUS a defense featuring Mack, Bosa, James, and JC Jackson. LAC GM has done a great job.
