https://www.nbcsports.com/boston/patriots/how-nfl-exec-views-jakobi-meyers-market-free-agency-report This exec is predicting 15 million a year for Meyers. That's actually less than what we were paying DJ for what looks like similar production?
-
I'm looking him up and he put up very similar numbers to DJ Moore while playing 3 less games. He is only one year older than DJ also. Offer him a contract similar to Moore's and see what happens. Draft another WR/TE at 39 and we suddenly have at least respectable weapons for our rookie.

Let's sign Jakobi Meyers and call it a day.

Most honest CJ Stroud film analysis!!

He is very good under pressure. He checks all boxes outside of his overall size. -
Defense has plenty of young talent in Burns, Brown, Chinn, Horn, and Jackson. It's time to get some young talent for our offense, starting with the QB.
-
If Chinn puts on some weight having him and Shaq in the middle could be nasty! Also Barno is going to get some more playing time in the 3-4 IMO.
-
Next year we have more money to spend and it should be a better class.
-
Having 2 talented run stuffing DEs in a 3-4 helps the entire defense. We are freeing up our (mostly undersized for the 3-4 linebackers), freeing up our edge rushers (Burns, Luvu, Barno) which will in return make QBs get the ball away quicker giving the CBs less time to have to maintain coverage. These are the underrated guys we need for our defense to thrive and I think our Evero knows this.
-
If they draft Stroud/Young they might as well start them week 1. No bridge needed.

Wait until you see Tuttle's route tree!
-
He seems small for that, plus isn't he a FA?
-
He is a run stuffing DT. Right now our 3-4 DL is Brown, McCall, and Tuttle. That's going to free up our LBs and Edge Rushers big time. We will probably upgrade McCall when it's all said and done.
-
Shy Tuttle is a great name and I remember him at UT. Is he more of a DE or a DT for the 3-4?
-
Having Allen and Brown as our 3-4 DEs could work nicely!

Tony Pauline: CJ Stroud or Anthony Richardson

I get it. If we take someone like Levis I think it would be a trade back down to acquire some more capital. I would be very skeptical of Levis at 1 after giving up all of that capital. We HAVE to hit on this pick and the highest floor is Stroud IMO. -

After seeing how they assembled this staff this offseason, I have some faith restored in the franchise. Tepper made a mistake with Rhule, admitted it, and is now trying to do things the right way. I can't hate on him for that. If he truly stays out of the way (and he seems to have so far, remember he wanted Fields) and lets Reich do his job I think we will draft the right guy (Stroud). -
Which of these FA WRs would you want to go after?

yeah and that led us to multiple top 10 picks... He needs TDs to win and he needs a good QB to throw TDs. -

You are definitely consistent and logical in your responses. Some people on here whine just to whine, but at least I understand where you are coming from. -
Anyone else thinking we would better off with more of a pass catching RB than Foreman after losing Moore?
