Lost the game in the first half yet we had the lead with just over a minute left in the game. I get that you hate the guy, but you are making no sense. Teams play based on how the game is going. For example we wouldn't have thrown a bomb to RA if we were up by 3 TDs. To say that a play or series in the 1 quarter is the reason we lost a 2 point game is illogical. The Browns could have changed their entire game plan if we had our offense clicking early. Who knows what would have happened? At the end of the day Rhule wouldn't let us go for the kill with a TD attempt in the RZ. Then our defense couldn't get a stop during the last minute when we had the lead. Coaching decisions and defense let us down at the end.

They knew more about our QB than we knew about their team

Oh know don't pivot. Your logic that Brisset is better than Baker because his team won would imply Mitch is better than Burrow and Cousins is better than Rodgers. See how it sounds when you use it with other teams.... -

Why couldn't Burrow beat Mitch? You do realize it's a team game right? Who am I kidding you probably don't..... -
Our last two first round picks, Icky and Horn.....BUSTS

None of these draft picks were considered reaches. At some point we have to look at the people developing and coaching them. That point will hopefully be this season. -

Again if you think that you didn't watch the game. Baker had more yards on less attempts with a higher completion % and a better rating. He had one INT, but 2 TDs to Brisset's 1. Baker also got sacked 4 times more with a much inferior defense and run game. Keep up with the name calling it shows you have no merit to your argument. -

A botched snap which was the 4th one from Elf, who shouldn't have been starting. Throw that in with the fact Rhule wanted to play musical QBs and OL through TC and the preseason it still falls back on him. He did power I CMC up the middle to line up the FG because he was playing conservative. At least let your QB have an attempt in the endzone after he was torching the Browns the past 2 drives. We had momentum and Rhule slowed it down. -

You compared me to a clown? How rude. I'm just saying this isn't the game to blame Baker after he woke up the second half and got us the lead late in the 4th. That's why I'm assuming you didn't watch the game... Either that or you just have no clue what you are talking about and regurgitate crap you read from other people like it's the truth. I'm sure there will be games where he will play bad and then have fun blaming him. I agree with Rhule sucking and I think a large portion of this loss can be blamed on him. -
Oh poo, I just googled him. He is a FA (didn’t even make the practice squad). The Broncos gave him a tryout 5 days ago, but we’re not impressed apparently.

Where is Carson Strong? Did he make a practice squad somewhere???

Think Snow will defend his run D after today?

They were also playing their 3rd string RT…. Ouch… -
He started off like poo, but came alive in the second half. He got them down the field twice and a lead with just over a minute left. If Rhule actually let them attempt a TD on that last drive he probably would have gotten it. The offense was finally clicking. He did this while being sacked 4 times. If he doesn’t throw the pick we might win? Sure or if Rhule lets them go for a TD, or if our defense could get one stop once we got the lead, or if they don’t call that roughing call against Burns, or if DJax can actually cover a JAG, or if Horne wouldn’t keep holding, or if Henderson doesn’t tackle that WR while Woods is getting his INT… He did what was needed to get them the lead at the end and then was left with no chance after that FG by the Browns.

Coming from the only member of Carson Strong’s Fan Club and Corral is the next Aaron Rodgers, it’s hard to take you seriously when you say something is illogical.

I’ve watched some of it. They had all the games on where I ate lunch. The field was awful and his OL was pretty bad. His TD pass to St Brown was nice because he had a couple seconds and the WR got open. I know that franchise has done very little to help him develop. Who is his best receiving weapon? His OL looks to be an issue again. He still got the W against what might be the top defense in the league. The Fields not going through his reads BS started in college because he is a “running QB,” and people love to associate that with them. The funny thing is when someone like the writer in the article I’m posting below actually did the research (which he admits can be tricky) they find out he is one of the best at it. https://thedraftnetwork.com/justin-fields-progressions-first-read-analysis/amp/ “While Fields has been criticized for his rate of attempts beyond his first read, I charted Fields as attempting more passes beyond his first read than any of the other top quarterbacks in the class.” You might be thinking “sure, but he isn’t doing it in the NFL.” My point is, if he has time and actual weapons, we can absolutely go through progressions and was best in his class featuring several elite college QBs at doing it.

Panthers to attend UK vs Florida game today.

Pretty bold of them to think they will all have jobs next year once our staff is all fired (especially if Baker struggles). -
What’s he suppose to see on the field? His WRs not getting separation or his OL letting pass rushers come right through?
-
He had a pocket?
-
I wanted Fields so bad…

I already see we are going to have posters that originally were down on Baker stay down on him when he plays well. I know we will have the opposite as well. I feel most rational people think he did his part today and willed them into a position to win the game (only to be let down by his coach and defense).
-
By the way we need to teach our OL to make these DL pay for jumping up and swatting passes when they are being “blocked.” I saw an interview with an old DL who was saying he hated trying to bat down passes because the OL damn near broke his ribs when he would put his arms up.
-
Because they have no WRs or pass protection from their OL??
-
He was sacked 4 times, had a center then couldn’t snap the damn ball, a run defense that couldn’t get him the ball back and a HC who prevented him from attempting a game winning TD when he had the offense in rhythm. All of these things and he still gave them the lead with just over a minute left. To top it off he had no chance to try to capture the lead again after they got that final FG.
-
Yeah his weaknesses were his HC, pass protection, and run defense.
-
I know, I always fall for it. I told my wife they just got the lead only to crush my spirits one more time. It’s really hard to watch that defense though. Our offense seemed to settle down, but damn we couldn’t tackle poo.
