    What about when receivers are running without a defender in sight every other pass play? There is certainly a lack of talent but his scheme is also garbage. It's a perfect poo storm on the defensive side of the ball.

    I think the Ejiro scheme is to always leave someone running wide open. I've never watched a team allow so many passing plays to guys who don't have a defender within 15 yards. I understand talent is an issue on this defense but I think avenue scheme is an even bigger issue.

    I watched every game, if anything it seems you are the one spinning a narrative. Yardage doesn't mean much, points allowed is the important stat. We were ranked 25th, not exactly "great".

    The 4th ranked defense is an illusion. Teams didn't put tons of yards up simply because they didn't have to. When an opponent needed to score they usually did with ease.

    I think we should just go ahead and forfeit every game for 10 years so we can build the ULTIMATE team. Think about it, nothing but #1 overalls spanning an entire decade. We'll usher in a new era of dominance of the likes this league has never witnessed.

    I'm not a big Bryce supporter but to be fair that INT isn't on him at all and between that play and the other easy drops he'd easily be over 200 yards. He had a solid game. Given the fact the Saints were playing backups at CB he should have.

    To be fair, he is playing on a bum knee right now.

    I think you're severely downplaying the state of this roster. We were lacking in key positions to start with and horrendous luck with injuries has only made things worse. The offense with a competent QB has mostly been okay. There was no way to fix the team in a single off-season. I'm not saying we need a Matt Rhule "7 year plan" but one simply isn't enough.

    I mean, we traded for one of those so I don't think it really counts. I'm sure we can get it next year as well though for the true threepeat.

    At this point just pull all the defenders off and let them walk in. At least you don't risk injury and there is zero chance they won't be given a score here.

    The extremely early return on Dave Canales is promising. We might have messed around and accidentally stumbled into acquiring a REAL coach.

    The thing that has always impressed me most about him is his inability to ever gain any yardage after contact.
