In all fairness to the o line, when you have Andy Dalton throw 58 passes and run the ball like eight total times, you are in a tough spot of pretty much having to block pass rushers that know you are passing the ball every play... There really was no excuse for running it as few times as we did

That's what I am saying... Every Bryce fanboy and "supposed" pundit regarded him as a day one bonfide NFL star because of his "elite" processing skills and IQ of defenses. Not only has he not been elite at either, I'd argue he has been the complete opposite and looks borderline lost. Now it's gone from he is day 1 ready to "oh, he's just a rookie - give him a year or 2 and he will be great". So... when he is equally as terrible at the start of next season, do we just say "oh, give him 4-5 years and he will be great"... Pretty sure that's what the Jets said about Darnold and Wilson.

It's just obvious we blew the pick... I think the top argument for Bryce was that he was NFL ready day one and an elite processor because of some dumb test he has taken every week since he was like 10... This stat just further shows that Bryce is not NFL ready and possibly not even a good processor of defenses

In his defense, he probably has about the worst possible LG beside him... Still doesn't excuse the millions of false starts he gets each game though

Unfortunately when we turned down that Rams trade (for whatever dumb reason), we pretty much were stuck with giving Burns a blank check. This front office has to know that if they accept a trade for less than what the Rams offered, they should be seeing the pink slip the next day.

It's honestly simple. If we trade Burns for anything less than 2 1sts and a 2nd, clean house in the front office. No way you can turn that trade down and then trade him a way for peanuts a year later.

Jordan love threw for 260 yds in a win today. I'm pretty sure Bryce had about 100 yds before the saints decided to run a terrible prevent defense to gift us a touchdown. Let's be honest - Bryce has looked like absolute poo so far and probably would have against Seattle today also. Sadly, The Red rifle is the only reason we didn't lose by 30+

The one positive he had coming into the draft was he was NFL ready day one. If he is not NFL ready (which is very clear), you have to already recognize he is a bust for a draft pick and start thinking about how to fix it. Unfortunately that will be a 5-year long process

You pretty much have to throw 60 passes when your defense can't stop a basic run play and your offensive line gets about 10 false starts in the game... Honestly, if Bryce starts this game, we might have lost as badly as the broncos did

I've already checked out - I expect a loss and will just hope for a win... But I can't root for another team. The NFL is already boring up to me. The Panthers being absolutely awful just makes it easier not to watch the NFL and their 60% commercials 40% actual gameplay. I still think two years from now we are going to say how were we so dumb not to draft CJ Stroud number one..

Most likely true. At least CJ would be taking chances downfield, unlike Bryce who just checks it down or throws horribly incomplete 10+ yard passes
