Aqib Talib is a HORRIBLE HUMAN WHO I HOPE GOES TO HELL
Carolina Cajun replied to TheBigKat's topic in Carolina Panthers
Heres your fuging image Goodell, you fuging rigged a game so that this sack of poo can waltz around as a superbowl champ because you wanted "the sheriff" to walk off with his ring. Never let these images die because it shows just how much a piece of poo Goodell and the NFL are, dont give a poo about "character" as long as they feed the bottom line. -
That's exactly my thought, I think rhule is in over his head, but blaming him for tmj never being available is just rhule derangement syndrome.

Why didn't Sam Darnold play against the Patriots?
Carolina Cajun replied to hepcat's topic in Carolina Panthers
It was pointless and stupid, but I think the idea was to pump sam up some in hopes a caller came by offering something, anything of value fir sam. With corral on IR, can't afford to move him so might as well make the move now. -
Corral to IR is a good thing….
Carolina Cajun replied to Panthers Fan 69's topic in Carolina Panthers
Without even reps, it's not gonna help too much. Rodgers and mahomes sat, but both were on the active roster taking real reps in practice, ir kills corral for this season. He might bulk, but he's not gonna be much if at all further along next year compared to now because if this designation. -
I won't, but I wouldn't mind them cutting pj, I don't see a way they don't run with 3 though. I stand by that the coaching staff wanted a way to not have to keep corral on the active roster, they did not want him taking up a roster spot and the injury was the excuse needed.
-
Called it in the rhule loves pj thread 15 hours ago, it didn't matter if his injury was serious or not, he was goin on ir to keep pj on the roster.
-
As soon as they said he had an injury I thought this. Corral is going on IR, they are gonna stash him that way...bad part is because he won't be able to practice they're just gonna burn his rookie season.

dude, that game was fuging amazing. I remember that was essentially the closing of the door on the saints initial run with brees, they were in purgatory for a few seasons after and this was the closing of that first window. My profile photo is actually a newspaper from south Louisiana (where I lived and grew up), and that headline was god damned perfect.

and crazy part is I think Christensen looked very solid, so in the oddest of circumstances we finally have real legitimate depth at tackle.

Hes an alright backup or a third stringer, I wouldnt say hes not an NFL qb. I would just say hes not a STARTING NFL qb. Corral will get the spot, but Walker is auditioning now for another teams backup. -

Tepper talking about sam mills makes me want to vomit. -
imagine, 7 playoff wins for the buccaneers came in 2 seasons, 2002 and 2020, meaning for the other 44 years of their existence they have a grand total of 4. Dont get me wrong though, I'd give anything to just have 1 superbowl.

Saturday Panthers Back Together Practice - Who’s Going?
Carolina Cajun replied to falconlynx's topic in Carolina Panthers
Fwiw, its gonna be aired tonight at 7pm on wmyt if yer in the charlotte area -
For training camp, yea, it makes sense to set the work ethic and shows the team you're willing to work. During the season, far more important being the first guy in/last guy out of the film room. all these guys are phenomenal athletes so the one thing you can do better than anyone is out-study them.
-
gonna highly doubt his high school playbook was on par with an NFL playbook. this is a vastly different beast. Give it some time, I'm high on Corral too, but if hes not ready, he can absolutely be ruined by poor management.
-
Gonna probably guess this is kind of out of context. Im sure he would have preferred more competition, but that sounds and seems like more of a coaching problem than a program problem. Hes also echoing probably what a lot of players probably eventually feel when coaches sweeten the pot just to get a recruit they want to sign there. Regardless, he has instantly become the most interesting piece of our training camp.

ESPN "Future" Power Rankings/Ratings
Carolina Cajun replied to kungfoodude's topic in Carolina Panthers
Disagree, cj showed good development his rookie season, then dealt with poo last year. Im willing to see if he has the heart to fight, but he definitely has the skills needed, especially if jaycee can lock one side and donte takes the slot -
thats kind of the point, it ignores the positive production where someone like Mayfield also has 43 TDs to 21 INT's over the past 2 seasons, and one of which was mired by injury.

geeze, that josh allen guy must also be trash...
-
I only want one guy to start a franchise around, and yall know exactly who im talkin about... The Man... The MYTH... THE LEGEND!!!! BRIAN ST. PIERRE!!!!!!

Im not arguing whether or not race has anything to do with anything (FWIW, I felt there were times you could see the ole boys club, but there were times he faced legit criticism and I felt he had some who went to that point a bit to quickly)...buuut, there were reports like this, I also remember something about him "being mean" at the pro bowl or some poo. Its all overly dramatic BS thats put out to generate clicks IMO. https://ftw.usatoday.com/2017/06/nfl-cam-newton-panthers-bad-leader-teammates-report-booger-mcfarland
