Perfect, get the replacement refs in here, use this system and get the rigged bozos out of here. This should be standard practice anyway.

We might have replacement refs againβ¦
Carolina Cajun replied to WUnderhill's topic in Carolina Panthers
Simplify it then, let the refs on the field make the calls but give an extra in booth official able to overturn or get in an officials ear based on what he sees from the booth. This isnt 1930, we have technology that allows live conversations without slowing the game and with just that much effort you'll have better officiating without their bullshit union. -
Chad Reuter of NFL.com 4-round mock draft
Carolina Cajun replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
If he is BPA, then yes. I am a believer in Dan at this point and hope that he doubles on his strat from last draft. T-Mac wasnt the biggest need, but at a first round position, over-drafting for need is bad. We had XL coming back (we didnt know he'd catch rabid Racoon Disease in the offseason and forget how to be even an acceptable WR), Thielen coming back (yes...old AF thielen was a 1k reciever) and Coker coming off a surprising season...if you asked RIGHT AT THIS SAME POINT LAST OFFSEASON if we should draft Defense or T-Mac where we were last year, I guarantee 70-80% would have said "WHY THE fug ARE WE TAKING A RECIEVER!?!?!". We're getting close, but you build a winning roster by Drafting studs in the first round and depth after, and Studs dont come from "Well we needed a Long Snapper", they come from "I dont care if we don't need a Receiver, That dude is THE DUDE" -
Buccaneers sign LB Christian Roseboom

good for him...but bigger is realizing that we are starting to develop talent to the point that when our FA's hit the market, teams ACTUALLY want them. hasnt been that way in a minute. -
This was a super interesting analysis....and I will say I dont think it prevents us from looking at Safety in the draft. IF Ransom takes a step up and outplays Moehrig, there is an out for them after the year as a potential cap cut. EVEN if not, if you are right and Simmons shows some promise as a Big nickel and Moehrig gets injured and Ransom looks good (or even if Moehrig looks bad) I could see him being a cap casualty in 2027 as long as we feel we have enough talent there as starting potential. Lotta football to play and Lotta injuries to happen. Im hopeful because his measurables are through the roof, but unless they translate you still gotta go with what you got.

OT Yosh Nijman announces heβs retiring
Carolina Cajun replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
100% that's the answer with ickys return later -
Depth, NBD. Bring him in and see if we need him. Honestly Im starting to like not just our starters, but our depth across the board. Guys like him, Mitchell Evans, Camron Jackson, Demari Richardson, Jimmy Horn, Treymayne Edwards, and Corey Thornton are guys that wont JUMP off the page at you, but to have a successful team you need guys who can come in and play a few snaps and take pressure off, not starters.

Panthers signing WR John Metchie
Carolina Cajun replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
For the jets? I mean, dude might as well be a HOFer for putting up over 10 yards in that dumpster fire behind planned parenthood shitshow of an offense and Qbs they had last year. -
Panthers signing WR John Metchie

I wouldnt worry too much about that. Yea they were teammates but Bryce knows T-mac is his bread and butter and Coker is a reliable guy, this IMO would make him more overlook someone like XL, Jimmy Horn, or Tremayne. Solid piece and someone he trusts, could be a steal, could be a bust...lets see. -

I hated him as a Saint but Iβd love him as a Panther
Carolina Cajun replied to TheBigKat's topic in Carolina Panthers
Nope, never cheap shotted a panthers legend while also actively participating in headhunting for bonuses. He also never really poo on the panthers like Cam Jordan did. Dont want scummy players. -

I would hate him more than I ever could hate Roman Harper in a panthers jersey. fug him. -
Considering what we've spent, Im fine with it honestly. Decent depth piece.

I think its obvious...if bryce DOESNT pan out, the team is going to be trash. Penny Kickitt will lead us to another QB.

Having signed Phillips, will they now target a OT for first pick?
Carolina Cajun replied to Jmac's topic in Carolina Panthers
Best. Player. AVAILABLE. That to me is the plan especially with a roster needing talent. T-Mac was that pick last year, he wasnt the need, HOWEVER he was the best. Only a few positions do I really feel they wont look at (QB...MAYBE RB). I hope they keep that strat because you fix the roster by just putting the most gifted players on your roster regardless of position until youre in a spot where you have a guttony of riches. -
FA Splash: Panthers sign Jaelan Phillips EDGE
Carolina Cajun replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Like him from what im reading since I dont know much about his game, HOWEVER...like people say, I am worried about injury history. I mean, how much can we really trust our staff when we missed so freakin hard on like DJ Wonnum. -

Ok...lets not get crazy now...Burns still is a bum against the run. Legit just find his side and run for chunks at a time. -

My prediction... \ -
Just saw this interview he had with Cam on 4th and 1 and my god...I feel like he's just not NFL material TL:DW Cam asked "How do you think you get to where you need to be so people believe the hype around you" answer "My problem was I DIDNT GET MEANINGFUL OPPORTUNITIES". Holy fuging poo. Dude is lost. That's the equivalent of saying "My biggest flaw is I work too hard". Double down on him from earlier this season when he said "I didnt learn anything from my time on the sideline with an injury" 2nd Part to note where he said something fuging crazy. Cam giving him advice about making sure he connects with his quarterback how Greg would come in and see cam studying film and ask "So what are you seeing" so he was on the same page. XLs respons "Thats a part I lack, I dont have sitdowns with bryce as much as I should". My fuging dude...you want more opportunities..MAYBE talk to the guy who can GIVE you the opportunites.

Very intrigued how Morgan and Canales handle the offseason
Carolina Cajun replied to Panthero's topic in Carolina Panthers
MY HOPES. First, the ickey situation is super unfortunate. I think try to get a reasonable extension that allows to cut if his recovery is bad. Option being if Lewis or Hunt get hurt he can kick inside, however I think its reasonable to think with his lack of progress, and prognosis of that injury he may never be a LT again at the NFL level. Nymen should return hopefully as well as brady and let the best LT win. We HAVE to cut X. Its not even an option at this point. Guy is simply put not an NFL receiver. He can return kicks and stuff, but as one of our top 3 options, its no longer an option. Best I'd say is see if someone is willing to give peanuts for him, if not, just cut bait or keep him at best on the bottom of the roster. Kinda addressed in first, but Icky could be a long term option at guard...maybe depending on how his recovery from injury is. Try to resign mays, if not I'd be ok with taking a Center in the draft and sigh...letting corbett maybe play the position. LB, Get Rozeboom back, maybe not as a starter but definitely worth bringing him back and also Im a guy of the mind when guys perform well, rewards like attempting to retain go a ways amongst players to grow a positive reputation. I always say, you cant have all pros everywhere, but continue developing Wallace, draft a LB on day one or 2, and try to find high upside players who might be better utilized in our system vs where they came from. Chuba, definitely rely on him coming back, if not see if Etienne or Brooks take off. RB is not a position to pay a lot for in the NFL these days, utilize the depth we already have and grow from that. If you do anything in FA, its a similar Rico signing, someone falls into your lap and you can pay a prove it contract. LASTLY, and MOST IMPORTANTLY, the big thing I want to see happen is a run at a big time Pass rusher this offseason. I think we'll treat this as win now mode although I think our "win now" still is maybe at best an NFC Divisional...MAAAYBE championship game run. That said, the rumors of Trey Hendrickson do make sense, although personally I'm skeptical on how well he'll perform in a 3-4 as opposed to 4-3. Also wouldnt be surprised if there were significant trade proposal for Maxx Crosby. We will see though, a move like that would mark a huge sign that we are attempting to win right now.
