Seen on the twitters, word is that there will be (at least) 5 teams searching for a new head coach next season Leading contenders seem to surround Cinci, Miami, Ravens... with an occasional oddball of Bills being mentioned. Good news is it seems Canales doesn't appear to be those conversations now (vs a few weeks ago) Heres a general consensus: 1. Callahan 2. McDaniel 3. Pete Carroll 4. Zac Taylor 5. Glenn 6. Stefanski (shouldn’t get fired) 7. Daboll (might have saved job) 8. Canales depending on how they finish 9. Raheem Morris: Falcons are the team no one is talking about yet

Was able to watch. How’d we do?

Canales purposefully doesn't give out game balls. That's not stopping the players from doing it (reference: this week's locker room vid). Player-led recognition helps build team rather than being an award from the coaches. small obs from this week's video? Thought I saw Tep in the back of a shot. Present (which is fine, especially after a win like that), but on video definitely quiet

Zod needs to add another LOL pie icon

Something happened at halftime and in the 2nd half today that got us a win, and Tepper had nothing to do with it Sure, big picture there's stuff to complain about, but let's enjoy today first

Wonder if coaches saw something that suggested there'd be a PI penalty if we targeted that match up If so, brilliant -

I wouldn't mind Eric Collins on all our games. If we're going to get Foxs third/fourth string announcers let us have someone we like -
Europe (or international) will come eventually. Trying to figure out if it'd best be four teams (two NFC, two AFC) or eight teams (NFC Intl, AFC Intl) and how it'd play out in terms of schedule and playoffs They've already scheduled Australia and Brazil, and looking for Japan. So to isolate to just "Europe" may be premature... unless they've determined that's a logical expansion space given demand. I'd say that it would likely happen with an extension to an 18 week regular season, giving all teams two bye weeks to recover from overseas travel as all teams will be required to play internationally at least one game every year. More likely two. I imagine the NFL schedule maker team (great video of their process posted on the YouTube) have already run through all sorts of example scenarios to see what is/isn't possible in the future

How did the Lions turn things around? Is that a model to follow? -

is it too late for a mea culpa and finish building the training facility in SC because it's the right thing to do? -
Just checking all the threads going on: We hate Tepper We hate Canales Tepper has been way too involved with football operation Tepper fires way way way too many coaches But we've also noticed that Tepper has been comparatively quiet last season and this season thus far (at least, publicly) with regards to football stuff. Maybe he's turned a page and letting the Football people do their thing? We want Tepper to fire Canales We can't be angry about Tepper firing coaches every 12 months AND saying that he needs to fire Canales in the same breath We can only choose one: which do we pick?

the coach revolving door needs to stop, it's not good for the long-term players to have to constantly adjust to some new personnel -
