  1. Very true man we really just had to pickup his 5th year option. Personally I see no reason to cut Sam, just let him play out his option year and let him walk. I am actually very optimistic about this team our Oline could actually be decent looking at who we signed this is gonna be a real ground n proud offense with a really solid defense. Last year we gave up such bad field positioning every drive to our defense. My hot take is we make the wildcard in the weak NFC.
  2. I genuinely agree our offense was so limited and Sam can definitely take a large portion of the blame for that. But, our offensive gameplan was also limited because no QB in our offense had any time in the pocket so we couldn’t throw the ball deep heck or even medium. Teams knew Sam struggles with pressure and just blitzed his ass all day and with CMC out our first read was not often a good option. Honestly Sam is probably one of the worst QBS under pressure I’ve watched, he’s 95% never going to be anything more then a backup. But there is a perfect situation where our oline holds up and CMC is his first read just like for the first 3 weeks last year. Let’s make Sam look good and get something of value in return of him.
  3. This is a question I have for everyone, if Corall was on the team last year with his current skill set would he have been our best QB?
  4. I agree with you but the drop in production could be on some level linked to the loss of Paradis then Erving/Eflein on the oline. Then Darnold’s shoulder injury, I digress im not a Darnold truther I just could see a situation where with a better OC/oline that he proves himself enough for another team to sign him next offseason and net us some sort of comp pick. Then Corall gets a year to learn the system and he gets his oppurtunity, or if Darnold is really poo again we draft a rookie next draft and have a QB competition.
  5. Solid point, just shows the difference between a franchise QB and whatever Darnold is. One counter argument is coaching, as Burrow has a legit offensive head coach in Zac Taylor calling plays vs us with a college football passing coordinator and then Rhules college roomate at OC calling plays.
  6. Dude I was posing a hypothetical situation I legit said imagine, I by no means am saying he will breakout but to act like it’s impossible is just as wrong. Not even trying to be a homer I’m just posing that there is a situation where Darnold shows enough for another team where they would sign him to a deal netting us in return a comp pick. Also I think his tendencies to rush reads and force throws is 10x worse when he faces consistent pressure, like his pocket presence with pressure is poo but non pressured throws he is probably around the 25th best qb in the league.
  7. I’d be happy with the 20th ranked pass blocking team but damn that’s shocking I was not expecting 9th. If we’re actually a good pass blocking team I’d be so curious to see how Darnold actually looks. Imagine Darnold looks good, ik everyone wants to get rid of him but man he could at the very least net us a 3rd round comp pick if he signs a solid contract elsewhere.
  8. Paying a player 40 million yearly with serious uncertainty’s if he’s even gonna play this year, while also giving away all our future assets? fug no Watson went 4-12 his last year playing. Do you really think he would make us a contender? I’d rather keep throwing darts and having the potential to create a dynasty then possibly make the wildcard.
  9. Gilmore was traded here mid season and played the entire season partially injured. He played well in the small amount of snaps, but the return of Horn far out weighs the loss of Gilmore.
  10. Solid depth outside of MLB and DE. Sign Clowney and I think we have a top ten defense easily, this is a potential top 5 defense. We are such a young team and every year that passes we develop further.
  11. Literally such a bad take lmfao. With your logic Burns was a JAG last year as they had the same amount of sacks while Clowney is also a great run defender. Man if anything Clowney is underrated nowadays. Would be a great signing bring ‘em home!
  12. Throw in some LSD/Handguns and we got ourselves an All Pro returner!!
  13. My last concern is Pjs roster spot right now, and I highly doubt it’s anyone else’s besides Pj himself.
  14. Can’t get mad at a nice hog molly pick up. I like this a lot!
  15. Elite speed! Great developmental DE, your looking for traits this late in the draft and oh man does this kid have traits!
  16. I fuging love this pick! Has the highest ceiling of any of these LB’s, Troy Anderson went day 2 and we got the same if not better type of athlete in day 3. Let’s go frittergoat!
  17. Love this pick, also love that we didn’t trade any future picks. I love pick swaps to trade up!!
  18. The fact we drafted a second string long snapper over Trey Smith still haunts me to this day.
  19. We traded both our 5th round picks this draft for the 4th we took Smith with and they also give us a 6th this draft.
  20. Solid pick, freak athlete at LB. If we can teach him to tackle more consistently then I really like this pick.
  21. Id be happy with Willis or Howell. We’re talking developmental qbs, both are worthy of a late third to fourth round pick. Let’s not forget we took Will Grier in the third and he is way worse of a qb talent then those two.
  22. Qbs are falling oh my. If Willis keeps falling we gotta try something...
