  1. Outside of the obvious QB, with the other remaining, ugh...five picks I feel we need a NT, TE, RB, WR and (LB or FS). Gotta get the core offensive skill players to grow together. The nose tackle is imperative and either a ball-hawking FS or LB for the defense.
  2. Another 4th/5th round prospect. Sure hands and returns kicks too.
  3. A 4th/5th round prospect. Nose for the ball and a good tackler.
  4. We need ILBs unless we find a prospect on the outside too good to pass up. I'd like to develop Shaq's replacement now than try to do it the year he's released.
  5. I want either of these guys in the 3rd round. McBride has better balance and more of punisher. Brown, on the other hand, is more sudden and a bigger burst in the open field, but I'd take either.
  6. Perfect example, probably the best NT prospect in the draft and in the "prospects not talked about" thread.
  7. I would actually want him to put on some more weight and become a NT. Yes, I like him as a prospect and no, he's not a complete unknown. With the QB fever running amuck, I've about gave up on the draft this year. Maybe next year things will get back to normal.
  8. Unless he's a first rounder, he'll be 30 by his second deal. That's not old in QB years.
  9. The ACL is a lot more worrisome than his age. He's not 36-years old. It's rare to hit on a QB in the draft and even rarer they stay with their draft franchise their entire career. To that end, being a few years older isn't that big of a deal. It also means he's more experienced.
  10. The ACL is the only reason Hooker will likely not go in the first round. Hooker is a more complete QB than AR at this point.
  11. Honestly a veteran WR corps would be best for a rookie QB, versus playing with rookie WRs too.
  12. Would have liked to get a NT, but went really heavy on offense with some defensive depth.
  13. Only if you hate four seasons. Some people do. I love it.
  14. I thought a Burns extension would be one of the first orders of business this offseason considering how much cap space it frees up. That and Shaq's reworked deal.
  15. For job security. His cap numbers the next two years are such that we won't cut him.
  16. The elephant in the room is Burns. If he gets a new deal, a large portion of that $16M gets freed up.
  17. Suspensions, injuries, inactives. All the above. He's on the decline too, so I'll pass.
  18. You mean the guy who missed 15 games the last two seasons?
  19. You mean the guy which turns 31-years in under three months? They are only two years apart.
  20. I hope not, Bersin was only a MVP in training camp.
  21. Williams, McCray, Sanders and Tuttle all need to stop going to the tanning booth then, their base tan is good for the summer and beach ready.
  22. That's a lengthy list for a team with only 6 picks, well 5 because the first one is be a QB. "Or two" isn't happening...one spot at most, which will prevent other needs from being addressed.
