  1. Remember guys, this dude was a 6th round pick and looked like it until last year. If this is the kind of money he was anticipating...good riddance.
  2. Oof, I can't get on board with Sadiq. I like Rodriguez. Sadiq is an athlete playing TE. I want a complete TE that happens to be a pretty good athlete.
  3. Yup, that's about how I've been mocking it of late, specifically like this If I can get it to work out without forcing it: RD1: LT RD2: CB/LB RD3:LB/CB RD4: C/WR RD5: WR/C RD5b: LB (yes double dipping) RD6: S/RB
  4. He has played 16-17 games the past 10 years and still a top guy in tackles.
  5. Yup, Otton re-upped with the Bucs and Likely went to the Giants. Oh well.
  6. What do y'all think of signing Bobby Wagner to a two-year deal? We know we are drafting LBs, but they won't be ready to start this season, especially if we go LT in round one. He's still productive at his age and supposedly a great teacher and locker room guy.
  7. Goedert was my draft crush way back in his draft class...even with the name Dallas. Yes, he was named after the Cowboys.
  8. Not worried about Mays, we couldn't afford him on that Brinks truck of an OL. I wanted to draft a center and this all but confirms we do, even if a FA is signed.
  9. I am watching this TE FA class. It's pretty deep. Tremble is in his last year of his deal and only has $2M in dead cap if cut. Sanders is a TE2 and so is Evans. Both of them have multiple years remaining too. Likely, Okwonko, Goedert, Njoku, Otton, Kolar and Jonnu Smith. Any of these guys are immediate upgrades.
  10. Just signed (unofficial) an Edge rusher, 99% sure we stay away from that position in the first round now even if Faulk falls.
  11. I'd trade them Dalton for Levis straight up.
  12. So we can scrap a 1st round Edge guy. I had my doubts about it anyway. Looking like a LT at #19 now.
  13. What could go wrong with two chronically injured QBs?
  14. I steer clear of it altogether. It's even more tribal now-a-days. You can generally tell a person's, let's call it 'persuasion' by which one they use.
  15. Being worried about Geno Smith stealing your job, lol. I thought being mentally tough was Bryce's strength? Sounds pretty weak to me.
  16. Did you see how much dead cap they have to eat? They have to burn it down, there's really no alternative.
  17. Please take note both Kyler and Tua were in the same place where Bryce is now when they got their extensions. Both were high first round QBs that had flashed some, but hadn't put it all together before being offered that second contract. The Dolphins and Cardinals will be eating a sh!t ton of dead cap just to move on from their respective 'franchise QB.' Also note, both teams were leery of the extension, but did it anyway because each team thought the QB simply needed more time to put it all together despite their reservations. In each case it backfired spectacularly.
  18. Odd we bring in competition for the backup, instead of an open competition considering outside of the Carolina ecosystem, most people would hardly call Bryce a franchise QB. You don't bring in competition for a franchise QBs. You do bring in competition for QBs that are not tier 1 guys. We have seem this play out before in 2003 and, by golly, the competition didn't even have to wait a full game to take over.
  19. Trey Lance still gets my vote. The problem being not only would that be competition for Dalton, but could potentially be competition for Bryce and you know we can't have any of that.
  20. Really like this guy as a slot WR. Him and the Iowa guy Wetjen.
  21. Proctor will get eaten alive by speed rushers. If you think Ickey was prone to get beat by speed demons on the edge, well a 360 pound dude ain't your answer.
  22. We have a comedian here folks.
  23. Yup, I keep using Kyler as a comp for a reason. Don't be stupid Dan.
