At least we’re staying consistent with getting nothing out of our 2nd round picks
-
Yep

Cursed

Pretty sure that dude who got arrested for randomly assaulting ppl on the street after a win was an eagles fan too
-
Idk what that means but ok. First round pick WR in the NFL. Hold onto a ball that hits you in both hands. Pretty simple stuff.

Fuggin bum ass Tremble

It’s the NFL. Hold onto a ball that hits you in both hands.

Don’t think you know what a hospital ball is. It’s a slant at the sticks on 3rd and 10, there’s gonna be a collision
-
Drafting TMac really opens up XL too. Dude can be good but prob isn’t a true 1. Him and TMac can be nasty tho
-
Man WR are not helping Bryce out today
-
Yeah let’s let a lockdown CB1 in his prime walk coming off his best season cause we’re playing 4D chess and know he’s gonna get injured in the future
-
Good. Lock him down. Drafted player entering his prime at a position of need. No brainer
-
Thanks for the free pick
-
I’m with you. If TMac is there we should sprint to the podium
-
T Mac in the draft, Godwin in FA depending on the price. Add XL and Coker and that’s a very legit room
-
Tom Brady talks about this a lot. It’s unreal to hear him talk about pre snap identification and the scenarios he sets up for after the snap. Not to compare bryce to the goat, but if he can be 80% of Brady in the head he will be just fine in the NFL.

Mid week discussion: via Trevor Lawrence hit.

Repeat offender who does dirty stuff like this all the time. I wish he got more, players like him are why we have the stupid rules we do on defense and why Mahomes can act like he’s trotting OOB then jog for another 20 yards cause nobody can touch him. we take hits like that out of the game, we can probably roll back some of the softness that’s introduced itself to the game past 10 years -
Man throw out Sean Payton and that’s an incredible correlation between WR efficiency and record. I know we want to hit defense hard, but getting TMac really should be our first pick.

Current Draft Position & Potential Prospects

If it’s top 5 and T Mac is there you gotta get him. Only other scenario I guess is trade back 3-4 spots and pick up another second rounder and then go DL. I don’t think we pass on TMac tho -
Serious question: Jameis Winston or Bryce Young straight-up?

Bryce -
Nobody could have succeeded last year, it was an awful offensive roster with even worse coaching I've been screaming that for a year. Watch some of the film of last year playcalling vs this years, it's an insane difference. but to directly answer your question, I think last year not only slowed Bryce's improvement but made him regress. My opinion is he was worse this year Game 1 at Saints than he would have been if he just took a year off in 2023 from football. The last staff absolutely ruined him. I wrote him off, said after the first play of the Saint's game when he threw the int he was done and no coming back. Sitting seemed to have let him get back to being the dude he was coming out of Alabama, and what we are seeing now I believe is what the 1st overall pick looks like 5 games into their rookie year.

Brooks looked great today, Sanders is legit, Coker is legit, XL is getting there needs to work hard in the offseason, Trevin will be good you can tell game is just starting to slow down for him. yeah we can do this. One more good draft on the defensive side and we’re in it.

OFFICIAL Panthers vs Buccaneers Gameday thread
jb2288 replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Kickers are more dynamic these days but less consistent. Everyone can miss a 40 yard kick, but everyone can also nail a 58 yarder any day. 15 years ago, a 55 yard FG would make sports center top 10.- 2,035 replies
