No, I was talking about the 2 pt conversion. That TD was all Laviska, man. Once again, great players bailing out horrible coaching.
-
Respect. And agree, Taylor did tail off, but I was still impressed with the overall body of work for a rookie. I would just like to see more of him. But I agree about Wilks' opinion and not understanding why we're playing soft with guys who have been touted for their man press skills.
-
Amazing creativity, McAdoodoo!
-
Somebody give this guy a raise!
-
See how Laviska looks? Now explain to me why he couldn't be doing that last week? And why we can't draw up something to get the ball in his hands on offense? Fhule's Favorties ride!
-
Flounder? Heh. The McAdoodoo Offense says, "hold my beer."
-
Now, for those following along at home, if their kicker didn't decide to have the worst day of his career today, this would now be a tied game. No worries though, they will finish the job because our offense cant.
-
this is literally the same play.
-
I know, but I was hoping if he went 0-3 it would make it a little less chilly and would at least give us something to have hope for moving forward once he was fired. While I'm proud of the defense and ST this game, this win just doesn't feel satisfying. The only reason we're winning is because the Aints are just that bad, and happen to likely be worse than us, which is hard to believe.
-
If there's one thing that you can count on, it's Donte giving up a pass just good enough for a conversion on third down.
-
I really wish the Aints didn't suck, because the more I see of this offense, the more I see it doesn't matter if the defense plays great and the team plays better as a whole... we're still going to suck under this staff and this win is Fhule's Gold. I want to win, but we needed to lose to get his ass canned.
-
That pass literally had like a 2% chance of getting completed. This offense sucks ass.
-
Smh Baker doesn't do himself any favors. If it isn't McAdoodoo fuging poo up, Baker will do it on his own.
-
Why play them when we can just keep doing what hasn't worked for 3 games?
-
CMC bailing out shitty coaching again. Smh. I hate this staff.
-
Are you saying you don't like this display of a juggernaut offense we're putting on? How could you not enjoy these route concepts that have Knute Rockne rolling over in his grave at the sheer innovation and ingenuity?
-
I'm usually with you, Jimmy, but not on this. No, I don't expect him to be perfect and I know corner is one of the toughest positions to play and they require some of the shortest memories due to the nature of it... but even all that considered, he just isn't good. I laid out all of the examples. Teams do go after him and if all you can ever remember is bad plays after almost two full years, that's kind of your sign... And Taylor looked a hundred times better than him in limited opportunities last season, so yes, I would bench him for Taylor in a heartbeat.
-
McAdoodoo should be fired during this commercial break. My God, this is embarrassing. I've seen more creative passing concepts drawn up in dirt.
-
Yup. In a year where we're into our third year of struggling and suffering, they cut in line, know to embrace the suck, and immediately get a franchise QB while we win just enough to keep wallowing in mediocrity.
-
Man, the Aints are really bad. Lutz used to be automatic. poo has definitely hit the fan there since Payton left.
-
Not the spirit of this thread, but if that's your thing, have at it.
-
You must forget who I am. While true, it happens to the best of them... he is not "the best of them." Tell me a good play you remember him making. I wanted him to pan out. I wanted him to be good. But for a guy so highly regarded for his athleticism and man cover skills, they never show. His most memorable plays in his tenure here have been getting toasted against the Cowboys last season, I bekiev he got worked against Philly as well a few weeks later, the worst PI penalty ever committed against the Browns, and then that lovely play giving Olave his first big catch of his career. He's not good.
-
Oh, you know we will.
-
Rhule just can't help himself from idiocy. Like a moth to a flame... That clearly was a downed player, but hey, let's blow a timeout in the first 15 seconds of the second half we'll likely need later when they inevitably come back!
-
Honestly, I think they're bad fits that ended up here because although philosophically they don't line up with the personnel, where it does align is that they were mostly cast-offs who couldn't get these positions elsewhere had it not been with a guy who is on the hottest seat in the NFL that no other professional coach worth their salt would want to be associated with. I think Campen and Tabor are the only exceptions there.
