FOX shares Greg Olsen announcing change

He's closer to Russell Wilson than Tony Romo. You can't grind on-screen charisma. You either have it or you don't. -

Just like being a good businessman doesn't make you a good owner. Being a great player doesn't make you a good commentator. I expect this to go about as well as Michael Jordan's ownership or Wayne Gretzky's coaching. -
REPORT: Martavis Bryant has had contact with Panthers

Tepper's always gotta hang onto somebody for too long. First it was Marty. Then it was Rhule. Then it was Fitterer. Now its Jim Caldwell. -

Tepper really should have done the opposite of every decision. -

I would assume so. If he got another job, I would expect to hear about that. If he stepped down I would think there would be an article about how he resigned and wants to go fishing or whatever. This seems like a firing and they're hoping nobody would notice. -

Its a shame his best years were on some terrible Charlotte teams. He really didn't have much success after leaving either. That was surprising to me.

2024 Carolina Panthers record prediction
PNW_PantherMan replied to Verge's topic in Carolina Panthers
I admire some of the optimism, but I'm going with 2-4 wins. Anything beyond that is overachieving for next season. It's really a recovery year for us. Maybe we can get lucky and have a few things work out along the way. -
If we don't have at least serviceable play at center, the guard signings are not going to be as effective. I assumed they would draft one.

I felt like suing after paying for Sunday Ticket to watch last year's team. What a rip.

NFL front offices value winning NOW because if they don't, they won't be around later. That's really the takeaway. It's not unique to Scott Fitterer. That's why the Rams made the insane offer in the first place. That's why they've gone after almost every player they've acquired in the last 5-6 years. They don't care about picks. They're trying to win today.
