    Well he did well enough to get the contract is what I meant. He wasn’t stellar over 16 games.

    He kept it up for a full season before and got a mega deal out of it. Does he do it again?

    Yea that year looks more like an outlier. And Josh Allen seems like the secret sauce more than Daboll. He made people think Ken Dorsey was good.

    Plus you can flush Daboll and the job is instantly attractive because of the young QB.

    Not sure Young adds any value to the package. When you consider his salary and the fact that he would be QB3 on their team after the trade.

    Every once in a while an obvious bust QB becomes good. Herbert a few years ago. Bo Nix (debatable I guess) and now Dart. I was a big Dart doubter but he looks the part against NFL competition. Problem is for every Dart there’s a bunch of guys like Will Levis.

    And as you mentioned, they cannibalized each other’s production. You could say they kept each other healthy. But you don’t need a 1st round back to provide load management.
