Bryce didn't play bad. Most rookies look terrible in their first game. I'm not really concerned about him. It's almost everything else that's concerning to me.

If you have anything negative to say, you are an idiot and know nothing about football. Got it. I get it that it's overreaction Sunday in Week 1, but that was a straight up depressing game to watch.

That’s not really true. The 49ers 2nd round pick wasn’t some lynchpin of the trade. And the Bears wanted Burns, but we weren’t willing to deal him. It was silly to trade Moore after moving CMC when you’re planning on drafting a QB.

So we decided to trade CMC and DJ Moore. Two guys that could actually help Bryce Young and were under contract. So we could keep a guy that’s demanding more than we think he’s worth. Not the best management no matter how you slice that.

Burns has all the leverage here because the team has already signaled he’s essentially their most valued asset. Agree with the potential trade or not, Burns should have been extended the moment they decided he was untouchable.

What’s more likely? That Matt Rhule wanted Corral so he told Fitterer to trade up for him, then proceeded to act like he never existed? Or Fitterer wanted Corral and Rhule never wanted a rookie QB so he acted like he never existed?

Can we go ahead and overreact in this thread instead of waiting until the game? Just trying to be more efficient.

Hopefully it was just one stinker and the team will rebound next week. I don’t really expect them to win or anything. I’d just like to see the 1st team offense chain together a decent drive.

Looking forward to see how he does with a real coaching staff and scheme. Pretty much everyone's development and performance suffered under Matt Rhule.

I don’t disagree but football jerseys aren’t that far off. It’s almost impossible to find a safe guy to buy a jersey of. Even if he doesn’t leave in free agency he might get ground into saw dust in the next season or two.

He’s just an awkward player. He looks like Gumby trying to drive to the basket. He’s not strong enough to play like a big. He plays more like a giant small forward than a center.

Everyone plays selfish to try and stand out to make the team.

We might have the worst summer league roster. A lot of these guys are awful.

He should get more minutes. Kai Jones ain’t it.

Worst jersey I ever owned was either Kerry Collins or Tim Biakabutuka. Kinda wish I kept them at this point but they really fell apart.

I think part of it is the NFC South is garbage. 8 or 9 wins might be enough to host a playoff game.

Yea that's a huge problem right now. Lamelo Ball is the best pick we've made in a long time and is incredibly talented. But he could obviously use a better coach to help him refine his game. Like knowing the right things to do at the right times in a game to secure a win vs. just being flashy and winging it all the time. Hopefully with the new majority ownership we can get a better coach next year or something. If we can start building on something hopefully it can snowball into a team that guys want to play for, and we can start making the playoffs more consistently like the Hornets of the 90s.
