yeah and up until last night he excelled vs top tier competition. I wouldnt take him in the top 10 but poo if he started falling on day 2 I would be intrigued. He has some next level throws on tape for sure. And like I said Becks throwing motion and mechanics are a spitting image of Stroud but there is jsut something about him that makes me shy away from him. The pimping of the lambo preseason was pretty cringe all things considered.

I would be ecstatic if Beck or Ewers fell to the 3rd. Ewers just had a bad game vs an incredible defense. He still has a ton of good tape. Beck has incredible physical tools and great mechanics its just his processing that I struggle with but IMO both would be great value late 2nd/3rd. Perfect guys to draft to sit and develop. I mean Beck had some great games last year vs ranked teams and good defenses and same with ewers this year. He picked apart Mich. Last night was just brutal as his line just gave up

Lombardi said on his podcast that watson is the classic "make a ton of money and then mail it in" player. Hes seen it 1000X times. So maybe watson would be just fine getting traded, paid and then cut. I probably would want more then 2 firsts but if its an option its not the worst one. Its a legit scenario of how the browns can get out from under his contract. One article I read detailed how a team like the panthers could make it work. It would suck in the short term (2 years) but the amount of capital you could acquire is massive especially if we were to trade back from #1 this year. No how likely a scenario like that is, well thats a totally different question but all that is being talked about here is how the browns could move on and yeah I would be down to look into it

Davis out in the desert is one nutso dude, so you never know and miami is built to win right now so they are desperate for a hot shot qb that go throw long. Going back to 8 or so and collecting multiple firsts and some seconds would help cure what ails us.
