The main issue I had with Malik other than his lack of experience against high-level competition is that his mid and short range throws had a lower arch on them. In the NFL those throws are going to get knocked down or intercepted more often than not. I think that this plays along with the idea that he doesn’t have as much of a sense for anticipation and instead waits until receivers are open to throw the ball with a high velocity and low arch.
