I agree with something I read. Rhule is in make or break year. So prioritizing a 3rd round rookie isn’t important. That said two years in you can easily see who Rhule favors and doesn’t favor. Also he is still calling players out during press conferences and giving not-so-subtle blame. Which is just so unprofessional, imo. Either don’t say anything or talk to them behind close doors.

Hope he learned to be better than the last time because that was a messy divorce with the Giants he had. Players hated him and were glad to see him go.

Corral never had a chance. As soon as he hiked it the DL was in his face. Unlike Washington, which either means their OL depth is better and/or our backup DL depth is terrible.

It also hasn’t been this bad since the George Seifert era. So the fact that fans are openly hostile to the team right now doesn’t surprise me. But what the fans are experiencing right now many teams have experience for much longer than us. Hopefully it doesn’t last much longer.

When CMC is on the field the team plays better. But I will always prefer a 2 RB system when your starting RB has had injury problems.

Been watching what I can of him. Dude has all the tools. Just needs to learn the NFL playbooks and speed. I believe if he wasnn’t at Ole Miss he would be a 1st round draft pick.

My guess is a few starters won't play are all this presason: Horn, definitely CMC and maybe a few more. But I think Baker, Sam, PJ(I have no idea why Rhule has a hard on for this guy), and Corral will all get some playing time. I wouldn't be surprised if Mayfield and Darnold both play all 3 games. But I also wouldn't be surprised if Rhule announced Mayfield and Darnold sit out games 1 and 3 and only play maybe a quarter apiece in the 2nd game.

Not gonna happen 4 years is proof enough.

I would say no way this coaching staff would keep 4 QB. But this is Rhule.

Read yeasterdah that PJ and Corral are splitting reps at 3 apiece. Why is PJ still on this team? Corral could have 6 reps instead of 3 if Rhule would get over his obsession with Walker.

Yeah I didn’t have a major negative reaction from what he said because it is true. The QBs will decide who will be the starter by how they play and Rhule will make the final decision.
