    I was hoping that even if our offense was mediocre our defense would show improvement. Defense is just as bad as it has always been and now our offense is putrid. What an embarrassing half of football.

    Yeah but at least that QB would be not short. I keep going back to the fact other than Wilson no other short QB has ever won a Super Bowl. The success rate of short QBs is very, very low. Like count on one hand low. Yeah some people would include Brees too but I don’t consider a 6 foot tall QB short, imo.

    I just don’t want some uncertain answer. Either Bryce is it or he isn’t. Nothing will be worse to go into the 2026 off-season still uncertain if he is the future. I hope the FO is smart enough to abondon ship if it looks like Bryce isn’t gonna be franchise material after this season. As I said before,”This is his last chance.”

    If we bring in a top 10 QB Bryce is pretty much done. No potentially take over. Bryce will be his backup.

    Will be interesting. I remember the first game after we traded KB and everything seems to flow better. Maybe this will help Bryce. Maybe it won’t. Opening day need to get here ASAP.

    I mean I am not happy about it. But I get the upside. We don’t have to pay him and get a 4th and our young WRs will get featured more. I just think a QB needs the old reliable WR.

    I get Renfrow is younger but I really don't want to trade Thielen.

    I would love to see us get a QB that better fits his system. It feels like he is so hamstring having to build his offense around a limited QB.

    Yeah I have a feeling Canales had not intended to ever start Bryce again. Dalton was gonna be the tank commander and get us Cam Ward.

    There is, what, 6ish QBs that are projected to have a 1st round grade in 2026. I am not that worried if we are still drafting top 15. Anything pass that, guess we are sticking with Bryce for another year.

    Nothing worse going into the off-season wondering will they or won’t they move on from Bryce. I say anything less then stellar you movie on. Especially if we are drafting top 10.

    Well even if we are draft 10-15. There is a good chance a QB will fall to us in a QB rich draft.

    Panthers won’t be trading for him. Not when our first pick may be needed if we have to move on from Bryce.

    It does feel like we are the new Redskins of the NFL. No matter what we do we suck because our owner is horrible. At least I have Canes and college football and basketball to look forward to.

    No matter what happens I am willing to give Canales at least 3 years even if we are drafting top 5. Mostly because I am tired of switching coaches every few years.

    Contracts have never stopped a team from getting rid of a QB who is obviously not a long term starter. Also Bryce is not Canales' guy and like any HC will want to get his guy if he has a chance and this draft he has a chance if Bryce sucks...again.

    Watch us have a chance to get Arch and he goes back to school.

    Maybe. I am worried that if we get a top 5 or 10 pick and have a chance at another QB we won't take it.
