    I mean it's clear already that there's nothing to hide about Darnold - he's going to be fine. Yes, we're going to have to rely on outside zone stretch plays and screens to move the ball with this Oline - we're not blowing anyone off the ball. But then when you line up a C at LG what do you expect?

    I honestly thought we brought in Elflein to compete with him at C. He's a bad player.

    I'm worried about the offence in the sense that we're clearly going to have to be a pass first team. It's early days though and our star player is on the sidelines.

    It's why I chuckle at the "Oh you can't take a CB with #8 overall" crowd. It's a passing league. You drop bags for CBs and DLs on defence. Collapse that pocket and make plays on the ball in the air. Rhule gets it.

    The best that we've ever had? Quite possibly - it's a very low bar. That said, it's clearly still Rhule's show. Fitterer is having fun doing all the admin though.

    Unless Jansen doesn't like money I can't understand why he'd want to retire. You can't touch the LS now and he has one job. I think it was more the Panthers exploring options to get younger and cheaper.
