  1. For the record they reckon Bruce Lee was 145lbs - and even then in his most famous fight scene irl he'd have got destroyed by Chuck Norris due to the size difference.
  2. WRs don't get hit by 300lb Dlinemen. They occasionally get hit by 240lb LBs, but rarely ones that have a 10 yard running start. CBs occasionally get hit by 300lb Olinemen, but they invariably see it coming and make a business decision. QBs don't have that luxury.
  3. White was 2 inches taller and I'd guess 10lbs heavier - and yes he got badly concussed when playing for the Dolphins.
  4. Yeah his stock is definitely inflated due to his 85 TDs to 12 INTs in two seasons as a starter. Dump the stock, I say(!)
  5. Is robotic a bad thing? I consider Brees, Manning and Brady robotic.
  6. Apparently the 11 person entourage isn't going to Lexington tomorrow.
  7. The PNP guy said it was a "smart business decision" to weigh in at 204lbs at the Combine (and not participate in any drills) and then not weigh in a few weeks later when you HAVE to throw. I don't think he knows what a smart business decision looks like.
  8. As McAfee so eloquently puts it, the NFL is the all-stars of each class stacked on each other for a decade. The SEC simply doesn't compare I'm afraid.
  9. The Head Coach is always going to big up his prospect - he wants to sell that he had the #1 overall pick to the next recruiting class. To me the knock on Young is that I don't think he can see the middle of the field and he has an average arm. So many of his plays are ones where he misses the routine throw across the middle and has to scramble to make a highlight reel play. That doesn't scream someone that's two steps ahead of the defence... unless he literally can't see over the Oline.
  10. Hitting the roof means it's a rainbow throw, right? (I'm assuming Alabama's indoor facility isn't second rate) That shows a lack of arm strength.
  11. Ah well, it started half an hour late so I'll have to watch the highlights I guess. Poor form that, Alabama.
  12. Come the fug on, nobody wants to watch Alabama OLinemen block pads.
  13. He's definitely dropped the 15lbs of water weight he was carrying at the Combine. As I said, I've never understood why he didn't just walk out there and do all of the drills at the Combine, with the statement: "this is me, pigeonhole me how you want - watch the tape". He's fooled no-one with his antics in Indy.
  14. They're literally in the video - the timeline is chaptered, look at the last chapter titled 'negatives'.
  15. Appreciate the effort, but that's horrible to watch.
  16. I don't understand the reasoning that we have to pick the QB that helps us win now. Surely you want the QB that's going to be the best one in 5 years?
  17. You'd have a package of plays for Richardson from day 1. He's only going to benefit from playing - you'd probably start Dalton until the bye week, then hand the reigns over to the rookie after that.
  18. No chance. First and foremost it's a level playing field to test the athleticism of players. Your Pro Day numbers are always taken with a grain of salt. Secondly it's an opportunity to meet players - formally and informally. Finally it's a chance for NFL teams (and coaches) to come together and discuss deals, players etc.
  19. Isn't it the same risk with Young? You take the smallest first round QB ever with an average NFL arm and suddenly realise his improvisational play doesn't fly in the NFL where everyone is bigger, stronger, faster and the windows are much tighter? That's not to mention the injury issue. This entire discussion is why I wouldn't have traded up to #1, but here we are.
  20. I think ultimately Stroud will be the pick, but Richardson would be the brass balls sitting on your desk, push all your chips into the middle of the table and have trust in your convictions / expensively assembled coaching staff move.
