Juan won't stay gone for long.

Haha there it is! Some things never change. Merry Christmas.

Yes that is true but we still had info about the drives from each QB coming out of camp thanks to our local guys. Both of them were making ill advised throws and both of them were throwing the occasional touchdowns. But Baker looked to have the better improvisation ability and threw more deep passes. Neither were what you would consider very impressive though. I'm glad Sam had a good game and he deserves credit for some nice throws but just like with Baker Teddy and Kyle Allen before him one game two games three games or four games does not make a career. It is so damn demoralizing as a fan to keep having to compare turds and decide which one looks shinier because it's all we've got Anyways. Merry Christmas ya'll

You don't have to like it. None of us do. But it's going to remain a source of debate about our 8th overall pick. Now Jaycee could very well go on to have an injury free career for the next several seasons. But do you actually believe that is going to happen? I hope it does but I also know Santa isn't real.

Could happen to anyone but isn't. It's happening to him and he could very well go on to only miss one or two games for the next 5-6 seasons but the odds of that are not too good.
-
Our own players have voiced concerns about it. Go back to grass.

Rhule was a buffoon of the highest order but let's not engage in revisionist history. Sam couldn't establish a clear gap between himself and Baker in camp.

Hornets and Bridges Working On A Deal…
frankw replied to MillionDollarCam's topic in Charlotte Hornets
When LaMelo is older and has a wife and kid he's going to look back on this and shake his head. Showing his youth with this nonsense. -
This from the guy who still contended the trade was a great move even at the end of last season. You're either clinically insane or you like Darnold for other reasons.
-
Ugh if only we had this kind of division when we drafted our last franchise QB.
-
The answer is no. Looks like we're going to have to face facts that while we did draft a quality player at 8th overall he is going to spend the rest of his career banged up off and on.
-
Most huddlers here could have handed the ball off today with historic rushing numbers. McAdoo should and will be replaced in the offseason.
-
Sam didn't fail because we had 300 rushing yards. I think you're trolling yourself here my guy. Sober up.
-
Who is ya'll? Baker Mayfielf has been eviscerated here over and over. And Darnold still couldn't beat out that man in camp. When fans of other teams read this board they laugh their asses off at the homers hyping up Darnold. Do you though buddy.
-
Hats off to him. I wish he had been starting all along.
-
Are you even reading your own posts? When we traded for him the first way I was able to cope with such a baffling move was to recognize his arm talent. Unfortunately I watched the game film of him when the chips were down and he had to score points from behind. He did nothing to change that in 2021. That's the question mark. Nothing in that regard has been answered. Even Baker Mayfield had a what some called miraculous game winning drive with the Rams barely a week after signing with them and then the next game he went right back to looking like he did here ie 🗑. It's called sample size. If folks like yourself haven't learned after Kyle Allen and the 3-0 start last season you never will.

Sam is elite. Well who can argue with this? What a relief it is to know he has fully arrived.
-
This the best you got? I'm thrilled for Foreman and Hubbard to be building the rapport they are together with our oline. It shows we will be able to plug whichever QB we deem to be the best option in the offseason behind this group and contend.
-
Nothing is settled. If it's up to me there isn't anything any QB on this roster could do to prevent me from drafting another quarterback.
-
It's called consistency. You think I don't notice you start posting again when Sam wins a few games? Some of you just don't show the same energy for different Panthers quarterbacks. PJ got downplayed when he won some games and inevitably fell back down to earth like people who were realistic about it expected. I didn't see your don't be hatin gifs then.
-
Well that cuts both ways doesn't it? We all have seen the results when Darnold has threw more because he had to. Goff still put 21 points on the board. Darnold had a formidable run game do much of the heavy lifting. And again just a week ago I had people telling me that Trubisky didn't outplay Darnold because he too had a formidable rushing attack. Some of these responses are why Sam gets the rep he has around here. You guys make too big a deal out of even average results. We need more. And consistently against tougher competition. That's not a slight against Darnold or any other QB on our roster. It's just realism. Happy with the win though. Good talk.

Definitely an option as a backup on the cheap if he's interested. He may have other opportunities though
