Plummer should have had that my goodness this QB room is TURRIBLE.

It's not about saving the season. It's about not squandering what has always been a crucial developmental season while we continue to build. We have a young roster. You can't develop your young offensive players with these backup QB's in the event of an unforseen circumstance. We do not have the benefit of continuing to waste seasons. Anyone who thinks we do needs to revisit the last 29 years of this franchise.

I feel bad for the home crowd. And the bad thing is. The longer this goes on. The less anyone is going to feel very good about that one drive.

Andy Dalton absolutely fleeced us for that 8 million dollar contract. Could get a UDFA for dirt cheap if this is all you're looking to see from your second string QB.

What was confusing about the post? If you are legitimately excusing the effort the FO made to improve the QB room then you might as well put on some lipstick and go ahead and lay a wet one on David Tepper's ass.

To be clear I'm not even asking for playoffs I'm speaking strictly someone who is younger with any level of upside because this is definitely nothing more than a developmental year looking at how our offensive depth is performing currently.

Absolutely inexcusable for the franchise that to my knowledge still has the worst or one of the worst win percentages in all of sports the last few years. And the fact that anyone with an ounce of self respect would excuse it is pitiful.

The issue is it's a 17 game season. Anything can happen. Bryce can miss a few games. He can hit a wall again and then you're faced with the dilemma of sit him or let him work through it. Either way Dalton is in no way shape or form an answer. They milked that thumb sprain for all it was worth last year. Confirmed anything anyone needed to know about Dalton.

Let's just call it what it is. Not the way you build a new culture. You build a new culture based on merit and earning roles. You don't build a culture by giving aging vets 8 million dollars just because they're friends with somebody.

I really really wish this FO had prioritized bringing in a younger vet. Even if you're afraid to make Bryce Young uncomfortable you have to make a better attempt than this at a QB room. Especially after last year.

Yo I've had multiple people poo my posts just in the last few months for calling him what he is at 37 years old. Great guy. But he's washed. The glazing here from some people even after those horrific games he had last year is insane.

Pretty good throw but that's what I'd expect to see under Stefanski. Shedeur could have done a great deal worse as far as destinations go.

I don't even remember who our special teams coach is now. Doesn't ever seem to matter though as it's either mediocre or steaming poo 95% of the time.

Uhh let's not get carried away brother lol. But I gotta be honest. This sort of thing is to me a big test for Canales vibe so far as a HC. He's gotta have a switch for this sort of thing. The nice guy youth pastor vibe is cool but he's here to develop the offense and it's a bad look for him too.

Can't beat anybody from the sideline or the locker room though.
