  1. Right? I actually have 2 chickens and they love eggs. Always seemed odd to me but they surprise me all the time. They are much more aware than I thought they were. They actually respond when I yell at them. I had another before that was almost creepy smart. She would sneak into the house like a ninja and hide if a door was open in the warmer months and pretend she wasn't if I caught her. But I didn't always catch her.
  2. With Random PF we have 15. Not a lot of different picks the first week but they're there. By the end of the season it should be interesting. Last call to play is 5 minutes before 1st game time so there's still time if you'd like to join.
  3. Have I ever mentioned my obsession with chicken? I eat it 5 times a day.
  4. Not a problem. Thank you for your help in getting this started. I had to run off for a meeting and couldn't do more but you stepped in and really helped a lot. It's a really cool side to the Huddle that sometimes gets lost among the nonsense. This should be fun. I was also happy to see so many Huddlers that I had liked before because of the way they post about things join our group. Panthers' fans doing something fun for the love of the game is worth the time. I'll also try to make a thread each week about the results so we all can discuss games and future games if they want to. Also, it's not my group but our group so anyone who's a member feel free to create threads yourself as well. It's just for fun so have fun.

  6. And Horn. He's a part of the equation too. We didn't pass on Fields to draft Darnold. We got Darnold to draft Horn.
  7. Thanks all for joining. This should be fun. I've always wanted to do this with a large group like this. I love that Carolina has 90% of the votes to win for all picks of all groups. 9 out of 10 people think we're better than the Jets! Woohoo!
  8. Sorry about that. I was in a hurry. I wasn't planning to do all of this but when Scott showed that to me I wanted to set it up before it was too late with the first game tonight and all.
  9. We're going to keep stats. So I moved it Here: Pro Football Pick'em | Yahoo! Sports NAME OF GROUP IS: CAROLINA HUDDLERS GROUP ID# 46358 PASSWORD: KeepPounding All are welcomed.
  10. IMPORTANT!!!! FOR SEASON STATS ON PICKS I'VE SET UP A GROUP HERE: Pro Football Pick'em | Yahoo! Sports NAME OF GROUP IS: CAROLINA HUDDLERS GROUP ID# 46358 PASSWORD: KeepPounding All are welcomed.
  11. I didn't know about that. We could do that, it would be easier.
  12. I would be cool with that but my busy season is about to start and I make careless mistakes when doing stats. If there is someone who is good at that and wants to handle the stats part I'm in. I noticed the most split game is Miami @ NE. That should be fun to watch. I almost went Miami because Mac is a Rook but then I remembered the Tua is 2nd year and didn't look so great when he played last season and I'm still not so sure about him either so I went NE in FOXBORO. I also wanted to pick Browns as I think KC will fall a little this season but I think the Browns may need a few games to get rolling but I am pulling for them in that game.
  13. The Cowboys will disappoint again this season. If they make the playoffs it will only be because they are in the NFC EAST but I still say they won't get it. Washington will take the division and be it's lone playoff team.
  14. Anyone want to make predictions for week 1? Maybe we could do this every week for shiggles if people like it. Only posts made before game 1 count. Let's have some fun and good luck! Dallas Cowboys @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers W Philadelphia Eagles @ Atlanta Falcons W Pittsburgh Steelers @ Buffalo Bills W W Minnesota Vikings @ Cincinnati Bengals W San Francisco 49ers @ Detroit Lions Arizona Cardinals @ Tennessee Titans W W Seattle Seahawks @ Indianapolis Colts W Los Angeles Chargers @ Washington Football Team New York Jets @ Carolina Panthers W W Jacksonville Jaguars @ Houston Texans Cleveland Browns @ Kansas City Chiefs W Miami Dolphins @ New England W W Green Bay Packers @ New Orleans Saints W Denver Broncos @ New York Giants Chicago Bears @ Los Angeles Rams W W Baltimore Ravens @ Las Vegas Raiders
  15. I honestly had already forgotten about him.
  16. I don't know, but my reaction to the post is something I've considered with you before. "ignore"
  17. I just hope that he won't require hospitalization. His health and well being are more important than anything else at this point.
  18. Let's put this into proper context and remove the elephant from the room so everyone can move on. Cam Newton is admittedly still learning the Patriots' offense as he goes (msn.com) Newton’s problem this season has been consistency and the Patriots don’t know what they’ll get on a weekly basis. It’s something he’s still working on. “Have I done it consistently? Not to my liking, but I am getting there,” Newton continued. “It’s just a learning curve. It’s just learning each and every day in the famous words of a quote from Game of Thrones, ‘You know nothing, Jon Snow.’ That’s been my mentality each and every day. Just try and stay open-minded and learn as much as I possibly can because it may be some things and I understand how Josh works and it is so unbelievable to work with him because he makes so much in-game adjustments that you have to always to stay on your Ps and Qs because you will always say, ‘We went over that one time this week, coach. You can’t call that.’ That’s not how Josh works. He’s all about reacting to however the defense — whatever the defense gives him and you have to be ready to go and execute at a high level. “With that being said, as far as adversity, as far as success, as far as what my expectation is, it never will change. I know that I don’t know enough and there’s also a side of me where I can say I came a long way in this system, but I am still learning. I think that is my [character] that each and every day I know that I have yet to play my best football and I am getting more and more comfortable all under the graces of obviously Dolla Bill [Bill Belichick], Mickey Ds [McDaniels] and coach Jedi [Jedd Fisch].”
  19. Yeah, learning the Jets playbook is definitely our priority. Thank goodness we have some here that figured that out.
  20. We will, maybe not this year but if they keep making moves like that it's only a matter of time. Moves like that is why I believe the Titans won't be a SB contender anytime soon. Good team? Yes, but not a SB contender.
  21. Well, if our recent moves are any indication, any trade we'd make would be with the long term in mind so I'd be ok with it. Plus, we can take 3 draft picks and turn them into 8 without breaking a sweat.
  22. Lol, who are we now? The Patriots? IF we were to do something so lame I'd at least hope it was a player from a conference rival or at least a team not named the Jets! What do we need to know? They haven't a WR or RB and they are starting a rookie QB. Whatever their playbook is, I highly doubt they will be able to run half of it.
  23. Are you talking about Deonte Brown? Played in the SEC, drafted in the 6th round. I agree with you, the kid has upside. I was surprised by the pick though because I wasn't sure he fit our blocking scheme but he cut weight and he still has time to grow and hopefully he can learn the technical side of blocking and become a solid contributor for us.
  24. I still love Bill Barr's rant in Philly. That was hilarious and well deserved.
  25. That was a really good trade for us. It also demonstrate the risk that teams are making when they trade away so much for a 1 player they like because in the end they are still an unknown commodity.
