  1. What the fk kind of comparison is that? Put Herbert or Burrow on the Jets (and put Sam on either of their teams) and you'd end up saying : "Was the game too fast for Darnold or Burrow (or Darnold or Herbert) last year? Nope." So spare me your smartass remarks.
  2. Well Train is right about the "young QB that has done nothing" part. I mean the NFL is a completely different beast. The thing that puts Sam above Fields is there is no growing pains where he has to get used to the speed of the game or some sh-t like that.
  3. Strange how I got Pooh'ed......well actually it's not strange. lol
  4. Strange how you got Pooh'ed for telling the truth. *shrugs*
  5. Because what you posted earlier is a Trainwreck.
  6. I think there should be a Poll made and we can all make our choice as to whether we believe Cam is the Pats' Week 9 starter or not. I'm tempted to make one myself but after the Marlboro Man fiasco where I was "reminded" that someone already made a topic of it weeks ago, I'm a bit hesitant....
  7. Only if life was a video game named Madden '21 where there was no such thing as the real world. But...life isn't a video game. And Tepper is not going to risk his ENTIRE Brand (and basically alienate a big chunk of the fanbase in the process) on one man.
  8. He thinks to treat this like he was playing Madden '21 where there is no real-life consequences for actions, only him playing the game.
  9. This isn't a videogame, Smitty. This is real life and Tepper has got to worry about his Overall BUSINESS before deciding to just throw caution to the wind and risk it all for one troubled man.
  10. The last thing I remember about Kaep is that stunt he pulled with the film crew. The NFL is a better place without him, imo.
  11. So what you're saying is "Just another day."
  12. Fair point. Unfortunately there are no winners in this.
  13. okay..maybe using the word "prove" is too extreme when I was merely expressing my opinion. Pardon me, sir.
  14. Okay top dawg, we get it. You'd be willing to look the other way. Others won't, though.
  15. He may pay to make this all go away legally but there will always be a dark cloud over him for the rest of his career and who knows how much backlash those of the MeToo movement will cause for whatever team that acquires him. I am not certain that Tepper would want to deal with that type of "publicity" when he's trying to build the franchise up to something respectable.
  16. If that's the case, that's the real tragedy in this then. Everybody looks bad in the end here.
  17. You could be right. But it's still a bad look for them, too. People will look at them just take the money and feel that they let someone who committed a crime...off the hook.
  18. ^^^ Well okay then, mrcompletely11. lol. That is your response.
  19. Hmm....I take it mrcompletely11 didn't like that take of mine. Perhaps he'd like to tell me in his own words why he didn't like it instead of just lurking and reacting.... Just saying... I mean...since they were victims in this, they should NEVER accept settlements if Watson did this crap to them. They should've gone after him since he committed a Criminal act to them. Sorry, but It's difficult to be sympathetic to them if they just took the money. Plus, it makes them look less believable that they were victims and more that they were looking to cash in on a high-profile Highly-Paid Professional Sports Athlete. It is what it is.
  20. IMO, If they accept money and none of them say "I don't want no stinking settlement", it just proves that they were all lying out of their ass in order to get paid.
  21. ^^^ So in other words, it *is* the source of your ire. *sigh* You do you, I suppose.
  22. With 3 NFL seasons under his belt, I am going to go out on a limb and say he will be BETTER than Fields. Just remember that Rookie QBs need a season or two to adjust to the SPEED of the NFL game. Sam already knows how fast the game is.
