  1. Worst case scenario is he's good enough to game manage us to a .500ish record every year, Tepper is satisfied and we get stuck with him for 8-10 years of mediocrity
  2. Time stamped for this convo of the practice facility. Both these guys are thinking there's no way they'll have the construction done by July 19th so training camp might be held in the stadium. I agree I don't see how they'll even finish the second outdoor field in time but only having the one field in the stadium doesn't seem like the most efficient way of working with the offense and defense. Probably should have booked Wofford for one more year instead of trying to rush this through
  3. Sitting on some metal bleachers in 90 degree heat on plastic turf sounds horrid lol. I know Wofford was hot but I'd prefer the grass hill over bleachers any day. Only upside to the new site is maybe being able to get a better view of the actual practice and it being a pain in the ass for security to stop people from filming.
  4. I believe I saw a comment on Twitter saying they'll have temporary bleachers for camp and limited attendance but there wasn't a solid number so who knows if it's a couple hundred or a couple thousand. Seems kinda rushed
  5. Yeah that's basically Ga, closer to ATL than Charlotte. Good luck getting anyone from the triad/triangle to drive 4-5 hours for one practice, same for Myrtle/Charleston if anyone down there actually follows the team
  6. Fans will be able to attend the 14 Charlotte-based practices for free. However, like last summer, those fans will need to register with Ticketmaster — starting July 9 — to enter the workouts due to attendance limits. The Fan Fest practice at Clemson — taking place at Memorial Stadium on Thursday, August 1 — will cost $5 with tickets on sale on June 21. All proceeds from Fan Fest will benefit Carolina Panthers charities. Below is the full schedule for training camp (dates and times are subject to change; all practices are set to take place in Charlotte outside of Fan Fest): ▪ Wednesday, July 24: 9:30 a.m. ▪ Thursday, July 25: 9:30 a.m. ▪ Saturday, July 27: “Back Together Saturday,” 9:30 a.m. ▪ Monday, July 29: 9:30 a.m. ▪ Tuesday, July 30: 9:30 a.m. ▪ Thursday, Aug. 1: Fan Fest at Clemson, 6:30 p.m. ($5 admission, tickets on sale June 21) ▪ Saturday, Aug. 3: 11:10 a.m. ▪ Sunday, Aug. 4: 9:30 a.m. ▪ Monday, Aug. 5: 9:30 a.m. ▪ Tuesday, Aug. 6: 9:30 a.m. ▪ Saturday, Aug. 10: 11:10 a.m. ▪ Sunday, Aug. 11: 9:30 a.m. ▪ Monday, Aug. 12: 9:30 a.m. ▪ Wednesday, Aug. 14: 9:30 a.m. ▪ Thursday, Aug. 15: Joint practice with Jets, 9:30 a.m. Read more at: https://www.charlotteobserver.com/sports/nfl/carolina-panthers/article289412600.html#storylink=cpy
  7. If they pull the same preseason game crap where we get demolished one on one and the coach says they're just running vanilla plays...I'm not buying that for a 4th year in a row lol. I need to see our starting lines match up to NFL level competition at the least
  8. It definitely seems like they are relying on the vets, even the new free agent vets to lead the pr/culture/vibe while qb is just 1 of 11 after that massive draft gamble.
  9. I definitely appreciate Brandt being on the phone making trades vs Rhule on the phone trying to trade with Bill Belichick. Whether the picks and coaching will be decent we'll see. Also keeping an eye on if he Canales can get anything out of our previous draft busts, seems like Ian Thomas and TMJ are not in his doghouse whatsoever
  10. Not sure if Canales is a complete deer in the headlights in the draft room or if he's just not as annoying as Rhule and knows when to filter himself
  11. Nicole Tepper in there talking about trading up smdh
  12. This will also be prime Training Camp meltdown time on here lol. Preseason game 1 August 8th, i'm guessing camp starts around July 25-27th
  13. I wish it started this month, theres about to be zilch on tv for sports unless you have the attention span for baseball
  14. Another unbiased guy with a more entertaining take on our situation, time stamped for the 4-5 minutes on BY
  15. Here's some more of them stats. CJ/AR top left/right, Levis/BY bottom left/right
  16. Also I would seriously doubt the guy found enjoyment in watching hours of 2023 Panthers offensive film lol. There's much easier things to watch and write about to get some clicks from NFL fan bases. Or maybe if it's not your team and you're getting paid to do it it's more of a frustrating study on why a football team failed from all angles
  17. Yeah comping BY to a 6'4" guy is a bit of a weird one. I get that he's saying the ceiling is a game manager but Bryce can't just stand in the shotgun and toss it around the field like Smith
  18. It will never be physically imposing, for clear reasons. Nothing he can do about that, nothing he should do about that. He needs better coaching, and the weapons need to be better than they were last year. We’ll see if it translates. (if it doesn’t, he won’t get better, and we know how those stories tend to go after 25-30 starts…nature of the biz) The noise doesn’t really matter. Young has the mental make up to work through this, and to me, the goal is LESS “prove he’s a franchise quarterback” in year 2, and MORE “work the plan, harmonize w/ the new WR/TE pieces, incrementally elevate his game.” That’s just how I’d be looking at it, but I understand it can be frustrating.
